Werder Bremen just rejected a bid from Internacional Porto Alegre and Bremen said he wont be leaving. he is also 30 so i doubt we have interest.

chelsea dont need pace and no more skill coz they have sturidge mata cole ramires plus if they get the people they want there quite pacey themselves modric or kaka or hamsik, krasic falcao or robinho so there good on skill and pace

chelsea don't need pace they need two more strikers a new right back and a playmaker for instance kaka or modric and they need a right winger too which is krasic avb knows what he's doing and is going for it he's interested i:

Falcao aint going anywhere he arrived at Athletico Madrid in the summer and if Chelsea were serious about him they would have made a move then....Robinho couldn handle the prem when he played for Man City....Krasic is a loan target and I doubt hes worth £25 mil and kaka/modric/hamsik wont come to Chelsea.

My mate works in the sports team for the metro ,word is Chelsea are to announce a press conference for 3pm tomorrow ,presumably Gary Cahill can u shed any light on this ed? Thanx {Ed002's Note - Nope. |It would be an unusual thing to do via a press conference.}
Why is this unusual... {Ed002's Note - Press conferences are typically arranged to introduce a player or players not to announce them, and certainly not before a deal is agreed.}

Guys we have short memories. Remember one "SHEVCHENKO" how long did we back him and all believe he would begin scoring. Sell Torres and get someone new in ASAP. We didn't pay 50 mil for a playmaker we paid the money for a striker and thats what we need. Take the medicine and start a fresh.
Well maybe if we had a decent playmaker, our strikers would actually start scoring regularly rather than assisting.
When the season started wasnt Mata going to be the answer to Torres scoring more goals?

I think alot of you are forgetting avb has a massive job on his hands, yeah sure i'd personally love to see torres scoring again but the thing is he has an old and ageing squad and with drogba gone to ACON torres will hopefully get back into form :)

Went to the game today, Torres seems to be too quick for our midfield. He makes the runs but they are happy to go side to side(5 times in a row at 1 point today!) Even when Lukaku came on, he was pointing and moving with no ball played to him. So this needs to be sorted, either sell Torres(hope not) or get the players (current or new) to speed the passing up.
It bother me that our 50 million! ill repeat 50 million pound player cant score!! do you mind if i dont support man city n stick with chelsea tho!! pretty pleaseeeeeee.........by far the most idiotic post iv seen on hear! do you honestly expect people to be happy about the torres situation?

Ramires could be what we need to solve Lampard's retirement/leaving. Looks like he could score a few more if he gets the chances. Lampard also keeps popping up with a few goals, but a win is a win!

Chelsea are due to renew their interest in Stephan El Shaarawy as he is holding out on a new contract at AC Milan. Manchester United are also alerted to this situation.

Latest news on Gary Cahill is that they are due to annouce the signing of him either after this evening game, or monday morning/afternoon. This is due to personal terms being agreed yesterday evening.

Thanks and keep up the good work {Ed002's Note - Arsenal, Manchester United and Barcelona were previously knocked back by his club and Goetze himself has made it clear that he is happy to stay at Dortmund for this season, although no doubt a very significant offer would be listened to. Real Madrid may be able to persuade him to move. He has identified his favourite teams as Barcelona and Arsenal. There is also interest also from AC Milan - and I suspect that they are shifting their interest in Ganso or Fernando to Goetze due to persisting non-EU quota issues. Given that speculation seems to have come to a frenzied head, it will certainly do no harm to say that the long anticpated but previously unpublisized interest in Goetze is from Chelsea. The reason I did not previously say who the player the club were interested in was simply because the club was very keen that it were kept quiet, particularly given that there is no assurance at all that a transfer will be achievable, certainly in the January window. Dortmund have bought Marco Reus, a local player that was on their books as a kid and this may result in Goetze being available in the summer. Chelsea among others have an interest in him. Chelsea know that there will be pressure from elsewhere to buy the player - most notably AC Milan, PSG and the major Spanish sides - and are of the opinion that a move to England will probably not come about.}

I suspect there will be more attactive offers available than PSG when this happens.}

Ed is there still interest in marko marin {Ed002's Note - Not that I am aware. AC Milan, Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs, Napoli, Juventus and Roma have all shown an interest in Marko Marin in the past and I hear that Arsenal are interested at the moment. Much will depend on whether or not Liverpool make the Champions League as to whether he is a viable option or not; and the summer is a considerable distance away at present. Perhaps Italy is the most likely destination, and I understand his preferred destination.

He has struggled to get back in the starting line-up after injury and does not seem happy with sitting on the bench. But I would expect Dortmund to be looking for a replacement striker as they already know that there is interest in Lewandowski and whilst they have their target set as Welliton I am not so sure they would let both players leave. I also think if he gets a run of games he will stop bleating and stay.}

Ed (or anyone else) , he Sunday mirror are saying that Essien is set to make a return for the reserves next week. I know you've said the club are aimin for around February I think?
