i've never heard of this player, is he any good ed? maybe like another alex or ivanovic who were both unknown cos 17.5m is a lot to blow on one player. .

Hey Ed, it is reported that Ajax have made there talismanic striker Luis Suarez available for transfer and have put a 20m euro or 16.8m pound price tag on his head. Also Tottenham is reported to be preparing a move for the Uruguayan hitman. Considering his quality and pricetag now, do you think Chelsea could swoop in for him or hijack a Tottenham bid? {ed's note - it would be beating Liverpool and Tottenham for him. There are people who believe he is the marquee signing NESV are making to get the fans onside. Not sure myself, but he has always been available hence Jol leaving. I don't see Chelsea going for him though, not in January.}

Ed have you got any idea why we declined to sign Van Der Vaart in the summer when he was offered to us? He would have been a fantastic signing for 7m {ed's note - he wasn't offered to Chelsea for that price, he was available for much more but no one wanted him. Spurs did well because Madrid dropped the price for them to pick him up on the cheap.}

I think it is fair to say that we will not know who Chelsea is interested in because Carlo is playing close to his chest on any transfers. According to news and the tabloids, Chelsea are interested in 95% of the players in the world. Just trust in Carlo to turn the season around and be more adventuresome with our formations and style.
