hi ed, have chelsea considered looking at CSKA midfielder kosuki honda ? {Ed002's Note - Not for a long time. Liverpool were very interested at one time but may have blown their chance of Honda in January when he was available for about £8M. During the mid-season in Russia, Wolfsburg and Juventus were interested in Honda but the player said he wanted to move to Spain and the 25M euro asking price put them off. Recent enquiries for the player have been from Sevilla and Palermo but given the player has been out injured much of the time since September and I am not so sure he will be moving this winter and when he does move I would guess at Spain or Portugal being good shots. Thoughts about a move to Arsenal come up occasionally as well.}

Have heard whispers of Andre Ayew of Marseille heading to us in January? ED or anyone else heard/seen this?
Scotty. {Ed002's Note - I rather think he will be heading to Africa for teh Cup of Nations. It is probably just fall out from Chelsea being represented in Caen last Friday when they were watching another Marseille player.}

Ed002 what is the situation with Ivanovic at present? I remember there was some talk about he would might consider leaving due to playing at RB, some months ago. I really would hate to lose him. {Ed002's Note - I expect he will stay to the summer and then perhaps move on.}

Ed002: i know nothing of his future, but there was an interview published on our official website few weeks into this season, when Ivanovic was being played in the centre. He was asked where he is most comfortable on the pitch and his precise answer was: "I see myself as a wig back, but if coach decides to play mein the middle, i'm ok with that".

So therefor i really can't understand this fuss over his position on the pitch. It doesn't mean he can't move clubs in the future, though. But i doubt it would be over position on the field. {Ed002's Note - Moving on would not be over his position on the pitch.}

Why would he move on then? He has been in really good form, is it that he wants a new challenge? {Ed002's Note - Players are transient, they come and go. It is like asking why a player would move to Chelsea.}

Ed, are Chelsea interested in Ederson from Lyon? {Ed001's Note - I left your original question for Ed002, he knows far more about French football than I do, but he isn't about yet. I am unsure if he is of interest, I am told there is someone at Lyon of interest, but my info could easily be incorrect or out of date. Chelsea could have looked at someone and decided against him and moved on but 002 will have a better idea I would expect.}
