I'm not saying he would struggle but the premiership is different to every league out there. Plus I think pep prefers one up top so if it ment they sell aguero, then that's a plus for the rest of us as aguero is certainly the best striker in the prem.

This is what I have been talking about regarding City. They may well spend north of €150 million this window with Gundogan, Laporte, Stones, Aubameyang and whoever else they decide to deliver on a plate for Guardiola.

FFP is an utter joke and this window's spending by City will be the ultimate piss in the face. No matter how many they offload, they will not recover anywhere near their outlay. Having said that, what are the bets they report a new record "profit" in their next set of financial results due to increasing their "commercial revenue".

I have to say it is admirable, albeit frustrating, that Chelsea are towing the line and keeping their powder dry for financial rules that only seem to apply to certain clubs.

I wonder will City and the Angel that is Pep be accused of buying the league like we were under Jose or does that not apply to them because they are a good northern club and are not the playboys from the Kings Road. Double standards as usual.

I wonder about the same issue everytime. How's it that we can't compete and sign the top players nowadays. Look at the team, it's full of average players. They will make you believe we going to sign Koke, Griezman, Stones, Pogba, Vidal, Pjanic, Marquinhos, Icardi, Lewandowski and them top players but at the end of the day we end up with players like Falcao, Remy, Pappy, Rahman, Sallah, Cuadrado and the likes who can't contribute anything tangible to the team's development. It sucks big time.

Uefa do punish city with fines but because they're loaded they just don't care, it makes no difference to them and they also loose like 2 champions league squad places which makes no difference as they would be filled with cannon fodder anyway. For ffp to actually work bigger sanctions need to be used to stop city and psg spending 100m+ and not making half of that back in sales.

Have you guys ever read the interview of De Visser - the chief scout of Chelsea and a close person to Mr Abramovich. He said that Mr Abramovich is tired of buying superstar and fulfill their unstoppable demands. He wants to create stars by ourselves.

Thats why Chelsea also started to invest less in the transfer market since last 4 years.

Di Marzio saying United have enquired about Matic he's generally very reliable also says we've upped our offer for Nainggolan but Roma turned it down.
