Two stories from the continent today.
1. Falcao is apparently back at Monaco, was seen at the training ground yesterday - assumptions are being made that we will announce the termination of his loan deal in the next couple of days. Given the fact he's a Monaco player it's not a massive surprise he was there, whether he's leaving or not.
2. Representatives of Chelsea will meet with the agent of Ezequiel Lavezzi in the next week to discuss a January move. I'm not buying this one, he's linked with everyone at the moment.
Also I read somewhere that Michy Batshuayi has signed a new deal with Marseille. Big money move in the summer for him then.
{Ed002's Note - Fiorentina want Falcao in January and there is a break point in the contract that could see that happen – but there is a cost to Chelsea. Additionally Piero Ausilio attended the Chelsea vs Dinamo Kyiv game to watch another player - but he did discuss a couple of other matters with Chelsea and it is possible that did enquire after the availability of Falcao - but this remains speculative and in my view unlikely unless they were to let Icardi move on - and even then their primary target is someone else. Fenerbahce may be open to a loan to buy deal. In the MLS there is interest from Columbus Crew. All of this is subject to his fitness, Chelsea deciding they have sufficient cover and agreeing to pay to let him go, Monaco deciding not to use him to replace El Shaarawy etc..
A meeting between Inter and PSG on December 30, 2014 concluded that the transfer of Lavezzi could take place but first PSG need to talk with the player about reduced wage demands - but he has returned to South America without permission and Inter dropped their interest as they were not interested in being screwed around. However, PSG again approached Inter whilst the the player is keen they don't have the money in cash. Interest from Juventus, Napoli and Valencia has gone for now but PSG are looking for a deal to bring in much needed transfer revenue and are looking to replace him with Boufal. The only interest seemingly remaining at this time is from Flamengo, Spurs and Barcelona - but none seem keen on a January unless the price suits them.
A representative of Marseille arrived back at Farnborough airport an hour or so ago - already confirming that Batshuayi is off the market for now and his agent will today be telling they interested clubs. As an aside they are now worried that they will lose Ben Yedder to an English side as Toulouse will not agree to a deal for him to move to Marseille in the summer.}

Does that mean Marseille representatives have spoken to Chelsea today? If so was it about Batshuyai moving in the summer, or if there wasn't do u believe we will retain a interest come the summer, many thanks ed as always.
