Roman is not going to sell it is all just speculation guys ?
And cmon not all teams will follow them rules they will just get a slap on the wrists, the barcas and rals of this world won't commend to it,
Soz mate but the rules are airtight, i thought there would be loopholes but there is not any, even if one is found it will be closed off immediately by FIFA. The punishments are severe, we will have to show our accounts quarterly and if we mess up on one, two then three within the year, we will be expelled from the Champions League.
Even if there was loopholes, Roman has no intention of using them, he wanted to tighten the belt by 2010 anyway. I hope you are right about the sale just being speculation but i have heard a few things and it doesn't look good.
Maybe Sharky could shed some light on this?

Editor is it possible Chelsea's bad form is down to the players finding out that we are up for sale? I cannot see how we could go from playing excellent to playing like we are now. {ed's note - it is a combination of things I think, injuries haven't helped as well, but I do think that is affecting things slightly. They must be wondering what is going to happen next with all the cost-cutting.}

With these new Fair play rulings in place, a billionaire would be useless to us, we cannot spend his money. Lets just hope we are not bought out using a leveraged buy-out. We could be back to square one before RA took over.

So ed do you think he will be looking for possibale investors , there are rumours a sheikh will buy us? {ed's note - I think he has been open to a sale for a while mate, it is just about getting as much money as possible back.}
A mate of mine told me that Chelsea value Chelsea at 600m but valuations since the Liverpool sale have the club valued at around 375m. I am not saying Chelsea are up for sale but something is happening at the club and it has been happening for the best part of a year now.

Rumours are brewing in Russia that Roman Abramovich is going to buy FC Spartak Moscow, they can fill a ninety thousand stadium and with the Luzhniki Stadium being upgraded to 89k due to the Russian World cup bid success the Russian businessman is looking to sell Chelsea and invest heavily in Spartak.
Personally i am not sure if this is true, i certainly hope no anyway.

Ed i have heard that Roman is looking at Spartak Moscow rather than CSKA, they have a capacity of 80,000-90,000 compare to CSKA's 20,000. I have also heard that he could turn the two clubs into one big club, but that is no more than hear say.
But imagine a Moscow club, with a brand new stadium that holds 100,000. It must be in the Russians mind?
Maybe a sheik will buy us? {ed's note - yeah sorry, my mistake, CSKA is the one he already has an interest in and Spartak is the one he is sniffing round. I believe that is definitely his long term plan, if Russian football had been in a better state I doubt he would ever have bought Chelsea in the first place.}
