Ed, do you have an update on whether we are going to make another offer for Dede? {Ed002's Note - Not right now - the club are not going to be held to ransom but might make a take it or leave it cash bid at some point.}

Brazilian media say Corinthians are in negotiations for him. {Ed002's Note - The Liverpool interest predates Rodgers and goes back to last summer and the players Caniggia was looking at. Recently AC Milan, Barcelona, Juventus, Anzhi, Chelsea, PSG and Bayern Munich have been keeping a watching brief on the player in the months leading up to the end of the Brazilian season. A bid was made by Corinthians in December but I understand it was not a destination the player would consider and another by AC Milan in January - but they were told firmly that he was not for sale in January. Benfica and Anzhi have both spoken with Vasco since January to see if a deal could be struck in the summer and it seems that is very likely it will but with neither club. The long-term interest of Manchester United may still be seen once more, but their focus is now very much elsewhere. Both Chelsea and AC Milan have made recent offers for the player but neither matched Vasco's valuation. Milan will again return with an offer but are aware that they may not be able to tempt Vasco to them unless they can raise extra cash as opposed to any other type of deal. Chelsea may make a higher cash bid.}

Hi ed are abromovic and the chelsea board still on good terms with ancelotti? Didn't he leave on nutral agree? {Ed002's Note - A decision was taken to move Ancelotti on at the New Year and he left in the summer.}

Hi Ed,
I was not using this site when the decision for Ancelotti to leave was made. Could you please recap the rationale behind his departure?
