ED002 It is pretty obvious that Chelsea are looking to move,but is looking to sell stadium rights another option ? {Ed002's Note - There is nothing new in any of this. The only thing that has changed is that Chelsea are to make an approach on the 27th to see if they can buy back the freehold of Stamford Bridge. Various options have been looked at over the past 6 years but the preferred route to rework Stamford Bridge is not possible due to height restrictions. As for rights, I guess you mean naming rights. Sure, they would be open to the right deal. Again that is nothing new. The only other "newish" thing is the options report that was commissioned and has now been delivered.}

Well surely it could have been done anytime in the past 5 years following that logic?
If the club had a plan it would make sense to acquire the freehold.
As BB has stated we havent and might still remain at the bridge why now?
It doesnt make sense to most fans and seems to me an ill judged approach.
Better that the freehold remains with CPO until plans are in place I would have thought.

Ed.Have you any idea what conclusions were drawn by the report other than the general one of needing a bigger ground?
Also have you any idea why the haste in purchasing CPO shares when BB concedes we havent even decided to leave definately let alone identify a site?

Thanks {Ed002's Note - The report was not commissioned to draw conclusions per se. It was to look at the options available. As I answered last night, what makes you think there is any haste in looking to recover the Freehold. It is simply that time of year when the opportunity arises.}
