Surprisingly that would be a brilliant buy
Disagree he would be an awful signing we do not need a RB we need Dave to return to RB so he can attack on his favored foot more we need a proper LB so next year the fullbacks can get involved in the attacks Moreno or Shaw would be perfect if we can't get either of these two Rodriguez would be my choice. Sagna defiantly not the player we need IMO.
Absolutely agreed Lampsy. Why we'd give a contract to a 30y Sagna when we already have 2 RBs in the squad, not to mention Wallace and Kane in the wings, not to mention the club doesn't want to give more than a 1y contract to a club legend John Terry who is only a couple of years older than Sagna and performing as best as he ever did, is BEYOND ME!
It would be terrible if we have resorted to signing players like Sagna.

I know you must get sick of fielding questions about every player that goes through a decent phase, but I seem to remember a couple of years back talk of CFC being interested in Connor Wickham, and also even longer ago (pre move to Liverpool) of interest in Shelvey?
I don't suppose there's any current interest in "lesser light" English players currently in the PL from Chelsea is there? (Shaw/Barkley notwithstanding)
