ED002 do you know anything of the Brazilian Neilton,? {Ed002's Note - Chelsea approached Santos about Neilton before Christmas and there is interest from Porto, Braga and no doubt others. I don't know if the enquiry led anywhere.}
I think it said somewhere that United are trying to get him as well since his buy out clause is only £5million.

Reminds me of a summer story with one man who had concerns with Hazard's attitude. Let's hope it will end up the way it ended with Hazard. Really struggling to find motives against hiring Mou. I mean, I know some that may, but they sit well with me.

Hes not a long term option? He has a history of staying with a club for 2 or 3 seasons then moving on, every Chelsea fan wants a long term appointment so we can get some sustainability, my choice would be Klopp.

Managers at Chelsea don't get long term so it doesn't matter what fans want success and trophies And quick is what roman wants and mourinho is the best for that and he's been around if he comes back home he won't be going anywhere soon he's manged every top club going
I think mourinho knows its time to settle down. That being said while klopp is a great manager he can't speak a lick of English and that would just not turn out well in my opinion.

That's a 10am kick off in NYC. Nevada smiths use to be the base of NYC Chelsea supporters club, but I don't think it is anymore. Check Chelsea fc website as I believe the group are using a new pub to meet for games.

Is anyone else watching Obi Mikel. Something has to change when he returns. Plus Kenneth Omeruo, what an awesome player, at least shd make the bench next year.
How slow was the other team closing Nigeria down, they weren't very good and now everyone goes mad for Mikel. If he's that good maybe barcalona or real might sign him.

Change in what way? the way he is used? I've been saying this since he joined. When Ramires was played out of position everyone defended his performances, Mikel has been played out of position from day 1 and receives nothing but stick! And Omeruo requires a work permit, he is better off on loan.

I know Mario Gomes has been mentioned on here in the past as a possible target. Was wondering with him struggling to get back into Bayerns team after injury and Pep taking over in the summer who doesn't favour big powerful strikers could we be interested?

The formation/style you play does not suit gomez at all, you need a striker who can link up with the play just as good as all the other forward 3. maybe someone like neymar in 2014 when his contract runs out, chelsea fans are far too frustrated. atm its a time of change at chelsea

Ed002, I've been reading an article in the Daily Telegraph by Jason Burt, who seems to have an insight, although not as much as you, into the club. In the article he says that there are "serious concerns" within the board about bringing Mourinho back. has also gone on the record saying he simply cannot see José back at Chelsea but rather at PSG. Are these "serious concerns" raised by ......... If so, it really is a joke, talk about the tail wagging the dog. {Ed002's Note - I understand that a couple of people have concerns - including the person you mentioned. Mourinho knows there is a job at PSG should he want it.}

Rob Beasley a really good journalist in my opinion has said Chelsea have started talks with mourinho's people. Nothing imminent bit it is a start. Looking good and thanks head for letting us know about Jose before anyone else.

Ed, do you think Conte is a possibility as our next manager? Not someone that would have sprung to mind considering he's at the team he played for for years, he's won the title there and is clearly adored by the club and the fans.
Though reports say he's been learning English for 2 years and that he's keen to manage in England.

Hello ED, just wanted to do a little summary of what deals could come off in the summer. yes, I know the summer is a ''long way off'' heh, but still, the shapes of the possible big deals can already be seen. so:
1. Fellaini, Isco and Falcao to Chelsea
2. Cavani to Real Madrid
3. Neymar to Barcelona
4. David Villa to Arsenal
5. Jovetic and Hummels to Manchester City
6. De Rossi to PSG
7. Lewandowski to Bayern
8. Torres to Atletico Madrid

If the club were to obtain a wp (he has played a lot for Nigeria lately) would he be allowed to play for the first team, the press are stating that as he is already a Chelsea player and under 21 it will be OK, but as we all know the press can sometimes make these things up.
