Ed002, just wondering why you seem to always say that the FFP rules don't matter? Is it because you think it is a threat UEFA won't follow through? Or do you think Chelsea will be able to generate more income in the future, e.g. new commercial partners like Sauber and Gazprom, stadium naming deal, kit sponsorship deals etc. {Ed002's Note - I would not worry about them just yet. UEFA remain worried about a breakaway pan-European league which will eventually change the face of football completely. It has been a subject discussed by clubs privately since the G14 days and discussions took place as recently as last week. Sponsorship is capped under the FFP rules so it is not a loophole per se.}

Good question and thanks for the reply ED002.It is something I have often wondered about myself.Next tme the self appointed saviour of football,or more precisely French and Italian football Platini goes on one of his self righteous rants I will advise him to log onto the Chelsea Rumours page and maybe you can
have a word in his ear ED 002.

The fact that all the clubs have signed up to it makes me less concerned. Football is big business nowadays (like it or not) and I'm sure that all the teams have top draw accountants who have poured over the details of it all. I am just speculating here really, as I haven't, read the FFP documentation, but I don't think it is something to worry about too much. And like the ever knowledgeable ed said, the threat of a break away league is always looming over UEFA's bald shiny corrupt head

The way florent malouda is being treated is disgusting! He will spend this season traing with the u21s he was our top goal scorer 2 years ago ,i understand he was given choices but because of wage demands they didnt happen but theres no need for that!
Carefree {Ed002's Note - It will be resolved. You have to remember the club were planning for life without him and gave him permission to sort out a way forward. FM wanted a two year deal in Brazil, preferably with Santos. After the Brazilian window shut, a final option was for Cheslea to make him a free agent (by last Friday) and let him move in trade for future options on players. His salary was the issue. His intention is to try and do a couple of years in Brazil and then play a final season, or two if up to it, for Dijon.}

He will never be in front of Hazard or Mata and refused other clubs due to wage demands so he can't really complain.

Lucas Piazon is ahead of him

Agree0 Disagree0

He got told he was surplus to requirements long before, he was also given ample opportunity to find himself a club, he has had enough opportunities to move on. The fact he's willing to stick around, train with under 21's all because he doesn't want to lower his wage demands should tell you more about his character. I'm surprised why Chelsea left it this long before moving him on. Good riddance i say.

Hi Ed, is it true that Falcao is part owned by Peter Kenyon? {Ed002's Note - It is true that Kenyon's business Quality Football Ireland facilitated the financing of Atletico's purchase of the player last year and he is one of a number of players that the business has an interest in. Obviously they cannot play in England with third party ownership.}

Thanks Ed.

witsel was a united target, hulk was chelsea target but amount porto were asking was oolish, moutiniho is spurs target. russian giants zenit signed witsel and hulk and they might also sign moutinhio if rumours are true. all in all good for chelsea.they are poaching people who are/were on our rivals wish list. and they also signed a highly overrated winger hulk, who some people categorize as target-man.

now question to worthy editors-- how are the relations between roman and zenit's owner? could zenit be a transit club for chelsea targets ? i mean can it be a ploy that chelsea sign witsel after year or two.everyone knows about romans good relationship with jordania (owner of vitesse). vitesse is like a nursery for budding chelsea talent. delac, davilla, kalas, kakuta, van anholt have spent or spending time there.

kings xi punjab chelsea brisbane roar {Ed002's Note - There is no such deal in place.}
