Evening Ed, the Express reporting Juventus are interested in and actively negotiating for Matic - any truth to this?

id hope so, been very poor this year but last year he was outstanding and I think his contract still has a good few years? scary to think the best DM of last year would go on the cheap in the current climate of the market.

I'd hope Conte wants to keep him. He's had a horrible season, but with a disciplined coach he might just get back to his spiderbeast best.

I guess I'll dare ask: is Juventus' interest in Matic a post-Pogba bit of planning? If so, do you see any prospect of CFC using Matic as leverage to make a Pogba move happen?

Think the big question is, would Pogba even want to come to Chelsea, even if he was made available .

yeh that's an unknown really isn't it, on the one hand I don't think the clubs profile suffers too much for being out of the CL next season (so long as it's recognised as a freak blip) and plus we have Conte, but on the other hand we ain't Barcelona.
I'd like to think CFC stood a better chance than PSG and City, but that might just be blue-tinted glasses.

Would be a big mistake letting Matic go - still the best CDM we have at the club by far!
