I expect Garay to be our top CB target JG. Although its never fun to do business with the Portuguese
Why would you expect that Melbourne? Garay has attracted interest from a number of top clubs and Ed has previously stated that Man U are looking the most likely destination, so why would we want to get into a bidding war?
A bidding war? We have already spoken to Benfica about the possibility, and I believe have put an offer forward, which was rejected. We certainly have as much hope as United mate.

I think he would be an excellent choice if indeed the club decide to sign a centre half, has all the attributes to play in the prem and has european experience.

Listen to ed it is not something that we need to worry about unduley. with the infrastructure abramovich has been putting in place since he came in he is obviously committed to developing every aspect of the club to be the best in the world. no doubt like this season there will be challenges along the way
Without going into FFP Ed002 has already given us the easiest answer mate. He expects that we will see record spending in European football this summer.
How will Uefa go punishing a host of top clubs? Bayern with a €250m warchest. Chelsea needed to address key positions. Barca and Real rebuilding teams with a overhaul of players. This is without taking into account the structure of the FFP regulations, and the period of time that clubs finances are accounted over.
From what Ed said both will bwe selling to raise funds. barca selling Villa and Sanchez with Real selling half their squad by the sounds of it. They make 500m euros a year as well, they're in the best position with united 3rd when it comes to FFP.
Nah mate, they are in the position where they need to sell to buy due to their finances. They are certainly no where near as profitable as MU. The debt they both are servicing is ridiculous.
