Why hopefully? A world class striker and you want shot of him? I'd rather have Costa on my team then against any day of the week. Be a tough ask to replace him. And what he brings. It's a shame it ended like this, but deep down I think we all knew he'd kick up some sort of fuss to go back to Madrid.

I meant hopefully because with him still at the club, we are seem to be holding back on buying lukaku or a new striker. We all know he's going to leave so it's best t happens sooner rather the later.

If he wants to go to united so be it. I don't like his attitude and he has disrespected Everton with his comments of late. No player is bigger than a club and Lukaku is lazy on top of that. He's never performed against the big clubs (neither has he with so called world class players alongside him playing for Belgium)
I honestly don't think he's worth half of his price tag, plenty more better strikers around with better work rates. Let's go for Belotti or someone with a bit of passion and desire.

i personally think he wants to return to chelsea. i think the hold up is the sale of Costa. he only wsnts to return to Atletico. who have a transfer ban which doesn't help. unless we can sell him to them and he starts playing from January if that's possible.

I think Lukaku should do well with us. He wants to prove everyone at CFC that he is good player and got a point to prove.
I personally don't think we as fans should be more worried about money involved.

You guys do realize his agent is Mino Raiola right? This is probably what they mean by entourage. This guy sold Pogba to united and loves dealing with Jose. I would be surprised if there is anything to this other than the agent pushing for a team he thinks he will get more money out of. Raiola is the definition of a greedy snake.
