According to German "Bild" newspaper (which isn't 100% reliable but have their good rumours every now and then, so make of it what you will) there is a part exchange deal in the making between Leverkusen and Chelsea. This deal will involve Kevin de Bruyne + 15Million Euros for Leverkusen's Schuerrle. So what's your opinions lads/eds?
I know I wouldn't be happy with this as it would value Schuerrle around 30MioEuros which would only be justified counting his potential as well. I'd rather keep KDB at the club next season as I rate him very highly (I watch him every week).

Cheers {Ed002's Note - No such agreement has been reached.}

Thank god for that answer from ed
really don't want chelsea to lose KDB

Schurrle is so overrated by people. Shoots from absolutely everywhere and not worth more than £20m. I would much prefer Isco who has a better work ethic as well.

Agree1 Disagree0

Norr should it ever be agreed!

Agree0 Disagree0

Schurrle's progress has stalled and it is becoming obvious. He is not scoring goals and we have plenty of people who aren't scoring enough goals, already at the club. Not sure what does he bring to our table, what we haven't got already. Hew is not a pure striker, he ain't an attacking midfielder either. He surely has qualities and we could become a good wing player, maybe. Weird interest.

I understand if we are interested in Mueller or Reus, you could easily see why and how would that work. Not sure over Schurrle.

Thought two facts revealed in commentarylast night were really interesting. First was that we have now scored 125 games so far this season something we have only ever done in our 108 year history and second that Torres has now scored 19 golas this season.
So we are averaging about 2. 5 goals a game something I doubt many, if any clubs are able to likewise claim.
So yes I agree if we had had a clinical finisher we may have scored more let's not ignore the number of goals scored and in the remaining games its quite likely we will score at least another 25 or so meaning a 150 goal season.
Not something to be sneezed at!

Agree1 Disagree0

I agree that scoring 150 goals is incredible but what matters is trophies and if we finish the season without any (or outside top four) then it doesn't matter how many goals we have scored as we will have nothing to show for them.

Torres has also scored in all 7 competitions we've played in.

Anything on Moutinho from FC Porto? {Ed002's Note - Spurs lost Modric but stalled over a summer move for Moutinho. Whilst I understand that interest from Spurs remains and efforts are being made to strike a deal, they will need to not only stump up whatever fee Porto think is right but also do a hard-sell on the player, as Moutinho has hinted a move to PSG would suit him best - and PSG are interested.}

Believable3 Unbelievable2

ThankYou Ed002 for you're reply : )

Agree0 Disagree1

How much do Porto want for Moutinho Ed? {Ed002's Note - I have no interest in discussing money, sorry.}

ed is there any interest from other clubs in ivanovic? he's scored a few goals and is very strong yet he's been a big issue with some of the goals being let in. also could you tell us of any scouts of ours eyeing any big players lately? last I heard of was someone watching Gomis in lyon. thanks ed {Ed002's Note - There was interest from two Russian sides but there is nothing right now I am aware of. Scouts watch games all of the time, so I can't really answer that easily, but there are players being looked at.}

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Can you tell us which players are targets for other clubs? Torres? Luiz? Mata? BA? {Ed002's Note - I really don't have time to write starting lists but leaving Chelsea this summer will be Bruma, Malouda, Benayoun, Torres, Hilario, Ferreira probably Essien, Lampard & Turnbull, and possibly Ba, & Kakuta.}

hi ed, who do you think will be chelsea boss next season and will he bring any star signings with him?
Gary London. {Ed002's Note - I really don't want to be drawn on that at the moment Gary but there will certainly be signings over the summer.}

Ed, do the club have interest in James Roderiguez (excuse spelling) of Fc porto?
He would be a better option to Isco.

Thanks pal {Ed002's Note - No.}

hi ed are any clubs interested in rafa benitez?
thanks
matt {Ed002's Note - He has some support for the Real Madrid post.}

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Swapping Mourinho for Benitez would be perhaps the funniest thing that had happened in world football in the last decade. :D

I think lukaku has really got his head screwed on, comparing him to Sturridge, lukaku knows his not ready a f wants to get Prem experience and has don't well,, he is already looking to next season knowing he will maybe not be ready so wants to get European experience and while this is happening he is saying that his goal is Chelsea and to play for them but he need to improve,, Sturridge thinks his a super star and I remember him saying he should play ahead of Torres deigns and kalou! He has faded at Liverpool already and I can't wait to see lukaku bossing it for Chelsea in few years

Ed002, do the club still hold an interest in Fernando Reges? Do you see him leaving Porto in the summer?

Cheers {Ed002's Note - I think interest has probably gone and he is unlikely to move in the summer.}

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Cheers mate. Are you able to say who the club is looking at as a replacement for Essien as interest in Fernando has gone? {Ed002's Note - Essien has been out on loan and may well leave in the summer. Typically clubs do not look to replace players who are out on loan or otherwise not in the plans of the club with like for like-for-like players.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Understandable. I appreciate we have probably a few targets, but who have we turned our attention to after Fernando interest wained? I'm of the impression that Paulinho is no longer in the plans.

Cheers for the quick replies {Ed002's Note - There are no lists which the club work down from the top. It really doesn't work that way.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I fully understand that Ed002. I won't push the issue any further. Thanks again

Ed, I know you have no interest in listing players that Chelsea are interested in but could you possibly just list strikers that Chelsea might look at for the summer? Thanks =] {Ed002's Note - Someone did this yesterday and was broadly correct.}

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Oh ok, I'll look and see. Thanks though ed. =]

Are chelsea a club interested in Lamela?

Believable0 Unbelievable1

We should sign him, he can be an amazing player on the right wing for chelsea. {Ed002's Note - I would not hold your breath for a move to England but Manchester United were interested before he left River Plate. Manchester City have been looking at him this season and are looking for talks. He has horribly complex ownership issues and would need a work permit - that will perhaps not be as easy to get as some imagine. One other English club were interested but stepped away because of these complexities.}
