If Remy went away, it would be Lyon. And we will get Lacazette in return.

Ed says the club have discussed with Remy if he want to play in Lyon or not. Cause it could be a trigger for us to get Lacazette.

Actually, Remy also needs to be present on the field mor often cause this year will be the year of Euro and he really wants to be in French final team.

However, I don't think it will happen.

Hope this doesn't happen. I like Gomis a lot and I think Swansea is a great club for him. Fact is he wouldn't get match time for us. I guess ultimately that'd be a decision for him to make but players like him at clubs like Swansea is what makes the Premier League the best in the World.

This transfer has not been confirmed by either Chelsea or Reading yet, but it seems Lucas Piazon is going to spend the season on loan at the Madejski.

Thank ED018. Papy Djilobodji has been tracked by us for last couple of seasons and one of our scouts has strong Nantes links so I expect him to sign Today.

Would be good to get a extra 2-3 players in if they can improve this team. This new cb we are supposedly getting ( not even going to try pronounce his name) doesn't seem to fit that bill, we all didn't hear of Dave before hand but with Dave we was after him all summer. This is a quick panic buy. In terms of pogba. Good to see the board trying but I'm not holding my breath

I think we will find Papy Djilobodji is back-up to the current team at £2.7m, no more. I saw him against PSG and he was run ragged although not his fault. Playing for an average team in an average league outside the top five clubs it is difficult to impress. I do wonder if we have purchased him so quickly because Ivanovic will be on his way in this transfer window.

Mc93: Sadly, I never really focused on him anymore than the other Nantes players. PSG won 5-0 and it was Ibrahimovic I was watching more than anyone, I think he scored two, maybe three. All I can tell you is what can be found elsewhere, he was very tall, decent in the air and athletic, looked a lot like Kurt Zouma but as I said the defence was run ragged. Sorry but I never dreamt that Chelsea would sign anyone from Nantes!

Thanks for the reply Frensham! And I wouldn't of thought we would spend 3.5mill on a defender and think he would reassure our defence. He might who knows but i'm not optimistic.

Pogba not going to happen at all if you listen to Di Marzio and a few other journos on Twitter. Shame really. Hopefully we have others lined up. Any info on the players we are after Ed018?

Mc93 and other: Papy Djilobodji. I have done what everyone else has probably done also and looked at him on the internet. For the money and if Guy Hillion was involved, we might, just might have found someone that will surprise us. No comparison to the Premiership the league he is in but there was a lot to like and there was definitely a Zouma manner about him. Worth reserving judgement until he gets game time

Papy Djilobodji - a summer of being linked to world class young defenders and we potentially end up with Papy Djilobodji for £3.5m!! If these rumours are true, and Francois Piraux is reasonably reliable when it comes to France and Chelsea, I am entirely underwhelmed!

What next? We'll realise Pogba isn't going to move this summer and look to sign Joey Barton instead?
