do we have any interest in Gotze, not necessarily now but maybe for the next summer? {Ed002's Note - Arsenal, Manchester United and Barcelona have already been knocked back by his club and Goetze himself has made it abundantly clear that he wants to stay at Dortmund for this season, although no doubt a very significant offer would be listened to. Real Madrid may be able to persuade him to move. He has identified his favourite teams as Barcelona and Arsenal. There is also interest also from AC Milan - and I suspect that they are shifting their interest in Ganso to Goetze due to persisting non-EU quota issues. There may be some, so far unpublisized, interest from elsewhere announced soon.}

Chelsea Prepare to Make Move for £20m Rated Ivory Coast International Striker

Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas is set to step up his pursuit for a new striker and has set his sights on Vitesse Arnhem's Wilfried Bony, according to reports in The Metro.

Villas-Boas is looking to rejuvenate his forward line with Dider Drogba and Nicolas Anelka are both expected to leave Stamford Bridge in the New Year, whilst £50million striker Fernando Torres has failed to impress during his time in west London.

The Chelsea boss has pinpointed Bony as his top target as the Vitesse forward has been in impressive form scoring 11 goals in 17 appearances for the Eredivisie outfit.

Chelsea have a good relationship with Vitesse having sent a number of their younger players to the Dutch side in order for them to gain more first-team experience and the Blues will be hoping this could work in there favour of acquiring Ivory Coast international.

However Vitesse are trying to fend off interest in the forward by placing a £20million price tag on Bony, but it is still felt that Chelsea will make an offer for the 22-year-old once the January transfer window opens for business.

ED002: I understand my question won't have a straight yes/no type of answer, but i want your opinion on the last winter transfer window. Do you think the Luiz and Torres deals were a panic buys or just we weren't able to finalize over the previous summer? {Ed002's Note - Neither were panic buys. Torres was a hangover drom the previous summer and the Luiz transfer had been on and off until one person took the matter in hand and got on a plane to Portugal to complete the deal.}

So these were not performance related? It is quite obvious our team has some commitment and communication problems, which is not only related to playing personnel. Either way hardly anyone is fond of our recent results and most often it ends up is shatters. It's either players or he manager. Do you expect busy January? Are we going to sell our players on expiring contracts, or leave them to find themselves a viable option? {Ed002's Note - No they were not performance related. Players may leave in January if they find a suitable option - perhaps Anelka is most likely to go. If DRogba decides to move top the States he will leave in January as well, although he has other options. Otherwise they will leave in the Summer when their contracts expire.}

But judging by Kalou's neverpresence with the team since his starting demands, where does it leave him? Looks like he won't be playing for us again. Considering his contract expires and he leaves for ACN for a month Jan-Feb, have we made a deal already? {Ed002's Note - There is no deal.}

hey EDs ive seen a few rumours about the young lad Sergi Roberto of barcelona, is there any chance of this happening cause i think he would certianly brighten up the midfield {Ed002's Note - If it did he would be more for the future than an immediate first team player.}

Would it be likely that chelsea continue their interest in Radamal Falcao despite him only leaving in the summer ed? {Ed002's Note - It is most unlikely.}
