Morning eds is there any truth in us bidding for lukaku? Also it looks like barbosa will be moving (unfortunately to Juve or Barcelona however) are Chelsea out of the running? Also Happy birthday ed001.

What I don't get is the money being branded about for Costa is 40mil yet lukaku 75mil can't see why. Not a massive fan of Costa. Can't dribble, first touch an it great I feel he has to be in the box shooting first time that's were he is great. When he takes more that one touch I think he is an average player.

You must be having a giraffe, Costa has excellent control when running past defenders ie. Dribbling, his first touch is quality also. You cleary have no idea what you're talking about. Unless its you Romelu, that would make sense.

No I mean Costa he has far from quality dribbling and control. But yes lukaku is the same I agree on that. I can't remember a goal from Costa that he dribbled past some on and scored. As I said his dribbling and control are average. But his poaching and first time shooting in the box are what make him great. O and his willingness to die for the cause.

Yeah i agree if Suarez and augero have excellent control, technique, dribbling, then by that measure Costa would be average and lukaku has the touch of a championship player.

Yes exactly he is world's apart from the great Drogba both of them when it comes to the great strikers. Bit harsh on lukaku I would say mid table premium team. I just think when costa is running at players he looks clumsy on the ball and often looses control.

Yes he can look clumsy but more often than not retains possession (Costa I mean) Lukaku is NOT chelsea quality, especially not at the sum being quoted. We'd possibly get Suarez for a bit more and IMO that's a no brainer.
