Guys my source in Portugal inside the Porto camp says that earlier today Chelsea made contact regarding Hulk, however Porto have said they are not interested in selling him. But expect Chelsea to continue pursuit 2moz.

Believable1 Unbelievable7

Liverpool swoop for Torres !!

Too many of you want tnando gone no wonder he is in a pickle right now bloody get behind him .......ktbffh

I believe if we have serious interest in hazard,we have to move now because we will never get him in the summer.city,Madrid and other teams will become involved throwing silly money/wages about.We have a golden chance to take one of European footballs best talents who can be as important to us as arjen robben was.But we must take this chance now.Fingers crossed,we done it last year with torres and luiz.Our posistion in the league proves we need a bit of quality,not just youth.

Believable6 Unbelievable3

Yes, Hazard has both quality and youth -- hopefully we can at least buy now even if he remains at Lille until the summer (and although of course we'd prefer him now)

Ed is there any news on jack Roswell. We obv have few injuries at moment in midfield could be a solution. Reasons make me think this is everton have apparently big
For jelavic and I thought they were broke.

Jr {Ed002's Note - Chelsea have no interest at the price Everton want.}

Believable1 Unbelievable2

May chelsea ask to loan krasic ed? {Ed002's Note - Juventus will be open to good offers for Krasic but it is unclear if the likes of Manchester City, Malaga and Roma are still interested in a player who has not taken well to sitting on the sidelines. Krasic has declared his interest in Manchester United and it is not out of the question that they may be interested in him. There is at least one very influential person at Chelsea who very much likes the player and wishes to revisit earlier interest. Discussions have taken place between the clubs with view to a loan move, but Juventus want to sell and Chelsea are not keen to do that. Borussia Dortmund, Zenit St Petersburg, Fenerbahce and Anzhi Makhachkala are also interested and a bid will be certainly made by Bayern Munich. Juventus have made it clear he has no future at the club and have hawked him around a little and Joksimovic has been trying to get Lazio, Liverpool and Spurs interested in the player. They are looking for a fee of around 14M euros and it was thought Lazio or Zenit may be able to strike some sort of permanent deal which is far preferable to a loan for Juventus.}

Are PSG in talks with Leandro Damiano ED02? {Ed002's Note - They are desparate for a striker and have struggled to find one - they have an interest.}

ED bet you cant wait till this transfer window is over! the feeling of de ja vou you must get is unreal!

Milos krasic left out of the Juventus vs Parma game tonight. Not sure whether to read anything into it as apparantly he is locked in talks with Zenit, perhaps a loan deal to Chelsea might be on though. Heard anything regarding this Ed?

Are Chelsea interested in signing Paul Pogba before wednesday?

Falcao to CFC for large sum rumour in some papers now; what does Ed make of this: possibly something in it or Twitter nonsense? {Ed002's Note - Perhaps in the summer.}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

In the summer, hasn't he only just joined Atletico Madrid. So i can't see him leaving.

Hey ED, this time last year, when was the £50 million bid actually submitted to Liverpool?

Im saying this because I'm wondering if a massive "spontaneous" signing (e.g. Lucas Moura, Willian or Hazard) could technically be completed (however improbable) with less than 48 hours till the window shuts?

For example: If Roman submitted a bid of.......£45million for Hazard with less than 4 hours to go till the window shuts, would it hypothetically possible to complete the transfer?

Thanks ED,

Samir {Ed002's Note - I don't know when the bid was made, sorry. I cannot answer hypothetical questions with confidence.}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Technical it could go through. As I think the Miereles deal was done in under 4 hours

is there any truth in a trade between real madrids pepe and david luiz? apparently real madrid is worried about pepe hurting there image. thanks

Believable0 Unbelievable5

Lol - there is one born every minute!

Agree3 Disagree0

David Luiz is highly rated by AVB and his team-mates. Pepe hasn't lived up to his price tag and we were linked with him back in the summer for less than £10m. He's a bit temperamental and there's no way we'd be interested in a swap deal

Ed2: Lucho Gonzales is moving back to Porto, as i type. Reasons are that he lost his starting place in team lineup. I can't see him for Porto either, with Porto's midfield packed woth adequate talent.

Still, being a Chelsea fan and almost in the last day of winter window, i wonder should i read anything into it. Like a possible offer for Moutinho? {Ed002's Note - Porto were looking to buy Ganso and Gonzalez was the back up plan.}

Believable1 Unbelievable2

That is fine. They both are a good quality midfielders. And they aren't exactly benchwarmers. Especially Ganso. Where does that leave Moutinho?

JG {Ed002's Note - At Porto right now.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Love the way you answer. Do you think we may bid for Moitinho?

JG {Ed002's Note - No.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Gonzales is a beast of a player i heard he moved as he was un happy in france and him and his wife got robbed at gun point

Roman has always splashed the cash when we needed him to..I am convinced something big will happen tommorrow. I have know idea who it will be tho

Believable4 Unbelievable3

Im pretty sure that tevez will be a chelsea player by tomorrow night!!

Agree3 Disagree4

If he wanted to splash the cash why would he wait till the day the window closes! its just wishfull thinking because of what happend with torres and luiz! i generally think that de bruyne will be the only one to come in tomoro! i think the summer may well be more active! but hey thats just my opinion i could be wrong! doubt it but i could be

-jack-

Agree2 Disagree3

Torres was bought for 50 million on deadline day last year so yes he has done it before. Meireiles and Luiz the same. Everyone thought the luiz deal from earlier in the window was dead last january but with about an hour to go the deal was back on. 'Deadline day' is exciting because transfers can come completely from left field and im convinced it will happen tommorrow!

CL

Agree3 Disagree2

Teams stop holding out and decide to take the money offered, unless thy reli dnt wanna let em go. i hope we do get a big signing but thn agen as long as we finish 4th i dnt care untill the summer

will the fixtures on deadline day affect any transfers that may happen? {Ed002's Note - Like Torres coming off at half time to sign for Liverpool? No.}

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Lol a NO would of been fine

Haha ed:') {Ed001's Note - I may as well rip up that betting slip then.......}

Hi ed I know de bruyne is having a medical any idea when the signing will be made official, never like to count chickens before they have hatched. Aaron {Ed002's Note - I have no idea.}

Believable2 Unbelievable1

30 Jan 2012 18:03:10
Please tell me Chelsea will sign another player in this window as de Bruyne going on loan? What about tevez any chances there? And will Chelsea meet shaktars valuation of Willian or at least bid again? {Ed002's Note - We will see about another player - but I doubt it will be Tevez or Willian.}

Believable5 Unbelievable0

So u feel there will be another transfer, would love to see tevez but would be reasonably happy with Willian {Ed002's Note - I did not say that.}

Agree1 Disagree0

Willian is cack, hes 23 and not gettin better his goal n assist rate is poor, if we sign willian id be peed off, rather de bruyne or even get damien duff back

Agree0 Disagree1

30 Jan 2012 17:48:17
Hey Ed I remember last summer van annholt (spelling?) was supposedly out replacement for cole but now it seems to have switched to Bertrand is it me being an person ( not unlikely) but if so what changed {Ed002's Note - Both are similar. Van Aanholt is out on loan gaining experience and Bertrand is doing well. Nothing sinister.}

Believable2 Unbelievable1

I think van aanholt is a lot better than Bertrand.pesonally don't think Bertrand is good enough for chelsea

Agree2 Disagree1

Bertrand is a far better player! He'll succeed Cole if we can keep him. Van Aanholt can't defend as well as Bertrand!

Agree2 Disagree0

No point in keeping PVA as backup when he'll be getting no game time. It made sense to loan him out, although I don't know why we loaned him to Wigan as he's second choice there. I think he'll be Cole's successor in 2-3 years, but he needs game time first. Bertrand is good enough back-up but I can't see him being a long-term option

Agree1 Disagree1

Neither will be after cole, wel sign perreia or sum 1, bertrand shud b gettin his chance cole has been poor, concentrating on his illumiati hip hop career with jay z to much

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Jan 2012 17:14:16
I would be happy if the only arrival on deadline day is 3 points from the Swansea game! A Torres goal would be a bonus as well.. Win or Lose up the Blues!

Blue John

Believable13 Unbelievable2

Torres hatrick lol, what are the chances. Seems like a fantasy these days to gt a goal

Agree3 Disagree1

I think we should swap him for kezman

Agree4 Disagree6

I think we should swap him for kezman

Agree2 Disagree4

Kezman? so bad you had to say it twice...

Agree5 Disagree2

Strange thing is the likes of Villa/Cavani/Higuain etc will just struggle like Torres if they were to join Chelsea, we have no clue how to utilise that sort of a striker, our fit is the Drogba/Lukaku mould, where we can lump long balls for them to hold up so Lamps can arrive at the box take is usual pot shots. Remember Crespo? Arguably the greatest finisher of his generation, he was blazing the trail but as soon as he comes to Chelsea....you know the story. I feels sorry for Torres, if he thinks he'll be getting the supply he did at Liverpool here then he shouldn't hold his breath. For his sake, he needs to think sedriously about his options for his own sake, we don't deserve that sort of striker.

Agree1 Disagree2

30 Jan 2012 17:01:44
Ed, Do any clubs have any interest in Torres? {Ed002's Note - He is not for sale, perhaps in the summer.}

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Why would we sell him he has started to show signs of old self now and just need a piece of luck

bluematt

Agree1 Disagree0

Nice one Piazon, hopefully he can have a 5 minute cameo at the end to get us fans use to what he's like.

TB

Just cause he's training with the first-team squad, doesn't mean he'll make the bench. he's probably there as cover incase someone gets injured on the day or the day before

ed do you think avb is going to spend some money and sort out our lack of open play goals its so plane to see torres is playing well now but just needs a piece of luck and some help up front

bluematt {Ed002's Note - At the moment it remains unclear if anything more will happen.}

30 Jan 2012 13:45:14
Hi ed.
Do u think it will be good getting hazard on loan until the end of the season and then offering hazard a contract in the summer? {Ed002's Note - No chance.}

Believable0 Unbelievable5

Hazard would be great but as we cant score from open play right now do you think that tezez woulld be a idea i no hes a nightmare but he would score us goals and help us get us a top four place

Ed, have you heard anything about Chelsea making a last minute bid for VDW or is this the Daily Mail talking rubbish?
FP {Ed002's Note - The situation remains unchanged from the weekend. He wants to move to Valencia if they or Ajax will move slightly on price and agree.}

Believable1 Unbelievable1

30 Jan 2012 12:32:05
Bertrand to Leeds?! Is this true Ed? {Ed002's Note - Not that I know of.}

Believable1 Unbelievable1

30 Jan 2012 12:40:53
Glad we went with De Bruyne over Willian, younger, much cheaper, greater potential, scores more with more assists too, 16 assists in 32 league games last year, could be a steal if he keeps improving. Could do with another signing for NOW though

SHED END

Believable9 Unbelievable4

Is there any word if hes staying an playing for us or to remain at Genk till Summer?
Tom

Agree1 Disagree0

The other signing you're on about do you Willian would be ok?

Agree1 Disagree3

Going Genk until the summer.

Agree2 Disagree1

He'll go back Genk for rest of the season pal, and really dont rate Willian mate for the price they want he's shocking, He offers no more than a Hoilett would but probably 3x more expensive, Even if Willian and De Bruyne were the same price id rather have De Bruyne

SHED END

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think it's either-or with De Bruyne and Willian. They're different types of players. I'm happy with the De Bruyne signing, perfect replacement for Malouda who will leave in the summer.

I think we may end up bidding for Willian in the summer anyway as he could certainly add something to the team, but he's certainly not the only midfielder we're looking at

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Jan 2012 12:23:46
eds? why no answers to my questions? or even printing them.
Reports in France suggest Lille have accepted an offer for Hazard. have you heard anything to confirm or dismiss this?

thanks for your response
James {Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any such agreements.}

Believable1 Unbelievable1

App from Aresenal?!?!?

Agree0 Disagree2

30 Jan 2012 12:18:07
Ed, have you herd anything reference Drogba's possible move to china? Think his past his glory days now, but would hate to see Tevez in the hot seat.

Dan {Ed002's Note - Nothing at all. No offer has been made to Chelsea.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

30 Jan 2012 08:45:57
Morning Ed, looked through the page just wondered apart from the De Bruyne deal if you expected any other transfers before tomorrows deadline, both into and out of Chelsea. Thanks.

Warren. {Ed002's Note - Unlikely, but not impossible.}

Believable3 Unbelievable0

I Thought u were optimistic a new player would arrive excluding De Bruyne? will we bid for anyone,Is krasic still an option? {Ed002's Note - THis is the reason why it is better I don't answer questions. Nothing is firm right now. If I say something and it doesn't happen then all I get is grief.}

Agree3 Disagree1

To be honest AVB himself did say he isn't buying anybody this transfer window, so there's no need to ask ed.

I'm sure he ain't avb in disguise. It's like you guys rely on ed to tell you everything, how is he going to know. His in a similar position to us. If we was to sign anybody we would have surely made an offer by now Or avb would have said himself. Time will only tell if avb done the right thing buy not buying in this window. im sure if he doesn't finish in the top 4 then his job will be under so much scrutiny and may even be without a job by next summer...nevermind the summer project. Anything beyond top 4 is a utter failure irregardless. the players we have are more than capable of challenging for the title, nevermind top four. Surely if we don't get the top 4 that would suggest something is wrong somewhere.

Concentrate on our big game tomorrow against swansea. 3 points is a must before man utd game.

Agree5 Disagree0

I don't think the players are good enough now. If we don't get a player in then we are in trouble. Krasic is possible but only on loan!

Agree2 Disagree1

After reading this,Assume for yourself why we think ed is the most reliable source than any AVB interviews!

[Villas-Boas admits that he considers Cahill to be a top centre-half, but the Portuguese tactician is adamant that he will not be testing Bolton's resolve in January.

He said: "He's a fantastic player because he plays for the English national team, a central defender of high qualities.

"He had a fantastic year last season for club and country.

"But he is not a player that we are considering." ]

DJ ;)

Agree1 Disagree0

But are Chelsea looking to bring someone else in?

Agree0 Disagree0

Do you think we will sign Willian before the window closes. Do you think we will get him at the very last minute on deadline day like Torres last year {Ed002's Note - Probably not.}

Agree1 Disagree0

Well we shall wait and find out tomorrow DJ. What makes you believe ed may have more insight knowledge than us or even have enough knowledge as to avb.

Will find out tomorrow if anybody comes barring the ones we know about

Agree1 Disagree0

30 Jan 2012 11:04:47
De bruyne having medical today,

Believable6 Unbelievable0

30 Jan 2012 08:03:20
Ed, is there any truth in what the Daily Mail are reporting about Chelsea making a £1 million bid for an 18 year old Patrick Bamford? Thanks. {Ed002's Note - I really don't know. I know very little about the kids side of things.}

Believable5 Unbelievable1

Which ed would be more suited to answering any questions about the younger people linked and that are part of our club.

Agree2 Disagree1

30 Jan 2012 06:20:52

Believable5 Unbelievable2

30 Jan 2012 05:33:57
the addition of tevez would be a superstar addition to chelsea! we wasted 50 mil on torres who needs to pack his bags! its time we bully some people around and tevez would give us a little attitude upfront! mata to tevez what a combo!

Believable6 Unbelievable11

Torres has been great recently, even though he cant score his movement has been great and he has plenty assists, torres will be a great.
Paganblue

Agree11 Disagree3

You actually want someone like tevez at chelsea? are you deluded!

Agree12 Disagree2

Tevez could bring the best out of Torres? They could be an extremely unbeatable strike force!

Agree5 Disagree6

This isn't FIFA or footie manager, Tevez is the last player we need. Stick to FIFA m8, at least he won't ask for a transfer 4 wks after signing.
