Ed002 as Chelsea have picked up a lot of Brazilian kids is Lucas Lima from Santos one the club are keeping a eye on? As much is expected of him?

{Ed002's Note - There is, I think, some sort of agreement in place with Lyon. His agents got Feyenoord interested as well, but I think Lyon has something in place.}

Ed002, as I saw you did on the United page, could we possibly have your views on our transfer window dealings and also if there were any deals you think we should have done that we didn't look at etc.?
Thanks again.

{Ed002's Note - Pedro was purchased at a good price. Not sure about a wet Tuesday in February at Stoke but he will prove to be a very good buy. Begovic arrived and will provide excellent cover when required. Pantic is one for the future and much is expected of him. The same is true for Maneo and Nathan who will also stay on loan for at least a season. Falcao will be a good deal if Chelsea can get the best from him - I have a sneaking suspicion it will be away from home in the Champions League where we see the best of him. One of the reasons he was taken on loan is his ability to run across the defence and his timing - and that is what the club will look to get back - training hard apparently. Baba will start to appear more regularly in games as the season progresses - all signs are that he will slot right in with no period of transition. Djilobodji has been on Hillions list for a while and has been interesting a number of sides - he will be used as cover I would think but is very well thought of in France and was seen to be a real bargain by Chelsea. Hector came on the recommendation of his manager and Emanalo took a look at him. During the discussions for Piazon Mr Emanalo raised the subject of Hector again and a deal was struck.

In terms of what didn't happen. There were efforts last week to sign Marquinhos. Chelsea backed out of increasing their bid for Stones a lot lower and earlier than reported. The Abdennour deal was one of those completed during the meetings in Monaco last Thursday - he was not going to be moving to Chelsea. Again, Chelsea spoke with Juventus in Monaco with a view to agreeing the Pogba deal. Efforts continued most of yesterday but nothing could be finalised. About three weeks ago Chelsea dropped interest in bring in another goalkeeper (who turned down two offers and has gotten an injury). There was some disappointment that Donsah could not get agreed as well.}

Hey Ed002, glad you're posting again, what of Kenedy? What do you make of it? Thought he was probably the best piece of business from us great price and looks like under the right guidance could be quite the player for us and Brazil. Thanks for yesterday too and the whole window by Ed018 really appreciated. Looking forward to talking football with you guys and fellow posters.

{Ed002's Note - Sorry I missed him. Kenedy is an excellent buy and will be in the first team squad this season. There was a lot of interest in him from elsewhere and Chelsea has another little gem with him.}

Fantastic Ed, thanks very much and very interesting to see the comments made on Falcao, Dijilobdji and Hector. I noticed on the United page you mentioned they tried to get Kenedy in; can I ask did any other teams besides us and them try for him (if so which) and also how well he is regarded. Finally, did anyone have any interest in Jean Kevin Augustin at PSG as I believe he is highly regarded also.
Thanks again!

{Ed002's Note - Augustin is just a kid, he won't be going anywhere.}

Thanks a lot Ed, I have read your posts avidly over the years and it is great to have you back. Your information is invaluable and is the only source of information that I have that I trust entirely; what we hear from the media is only speculation.
