Ed002 is there genuine interest from Chelsea for De Rossi or is it just paper talk? {Ed002's Note - As I previously stated, I know there is speculation but personally I know nothing of it but I have been out of the UK for most of the past two weeks.}

Now de Rossi would be a great signing imho. VBS

If you guys think Ake should be out on loan next season, where to? Would you already send him to a Premier League team would you send him to the Championship? And what would you do with Loftus-Cheek and Christensen?

I no its unlikely but I would like Ake and Chalobah to go on loan to a club together. Southampton, West Brom, Wigan someone like that.

PB, you think Ake is ready to play Premier League football week in week out? He's only made like one start

I think Ake would be better suited to a Championship side such as Watford. Someone who will challenge next year and he will get a lot of minutes. In saying that Wigan could be a shout because he will get European experience.

Christenson is not ready for a loan yet. Maybe in a year and Loftus Cheek like Ake should be loaned to a championship team where he will play regularly.

I think he in a season could be as good as any of the Aston Villa back 4, technically and physically as good as any of the Wigan back 4 last season. I would imagin he would be the 1st defender off the bench for Cardiff or Crystal Palace, Norwich could use a player of his ability. The only thing that he doesn't have is experience, I would rather he gained experience in the Premier League than the Championship.

Not sure RLC or Christensen can go on loan, are they not to young? And I am also fairly confident a club cannot loan two players from the same club.

Chalobah was only a half year loan originally but got extended which is what I would want for ake. I think if he does a half year in the championship he can pretty much lock up minutes and then you reevaluate in January. I think rlc and Christensen are a touch young to go anywhere just yet.

Agree completely TK, give him 6 months in the championship as minutes are the most important thing and then reassess. PB I don't doubt he could get into some prem teams but he is still too small to be playing as a CB in the prem. And I'm doubtful he would be a regularly starter or get a lot of minutes. Give him 6 months or a year of getting game time like Chabolah did and then loan him to a PL club next season or after Jan if he impresses

He is 5ft 11, given another years development he will naturally grow to 6ft and bulk out more. He has a good combination of speed and technical ability, couple that with his growing physique. I think we don't need 6ft 2 Cb as much anymore, you have strikers like Chicarito, Rooney, Aguero, Messi, Villa and so on plus wingers and CAM who are smaller in size and who use speed and agility. Ake next to a 6ft 2 Jonas Olsson or Brede Hangeland in my opinion would be perfect.

I understand what you're saying PB, but I think seeings as though he will need another year too grow and bulk up, the premiership isn't the place for him to do it. I think he would be far better suited to the championship where he get play regargly and learn his trade against men. He is an exceptional talent but I think a loan too early to a prem team could severely holy his progess.
