Ed, as you may of herd, Mark Hughes has quit Fulham today. Now as soon as I herd this I automatically thought it would have been because he had been offered the Aston Villa job. Then SkySports News announced that Villa arent even considering Hughes as Houlier's replacement. If this is true, where would you say he was heading? I hope its not Stamford Bridge. {Ed002's Note - I really don't know - sorry.}

{Ed002's Note - He is one of a number of advisors - don't read anything in to it.}

How come Chelsea are buying or trying to buy so many Brazilians ED002? Willian not seen much of him left footer though right? In your view ED if chelsea do get Neymar which seems likely will they pursue for another striker aswell?

BLUEBLOOD

{Ed002's Note - Eventually Chelsea will build an entirely home grown Brazilian team. Surely you have noticed?}

Oh right FIFA didn't think this through did they.Any news on Drogba today ED he seems to be linked with a club in every country?

BLUEBLOOD

{Ed002's Note - I figure the club will let Drogba leave if he wants to.}

Ed, any new targets for Chelsea or they gonna continue with whatever it is that's going on with neymar, and the other names that that have been in the media the last couple days {Ed002's Note - There seem to be rather more than that and perhaps a little regrouping next week. The highest profile seems to be Willian.}

Evening Ed!

Quick question (not about Neymar or Lukaku, hor'ah, im already bored with those transfers; if they sign, they sign)!

Will the impending arrival of Lucas Piazon have any effect on this summers willingness to spend big on a player in his position?

For example will we be happy to see him as our future attacking midfield star instead of being held to ransom over Pastore etc? {Ed002's Note - It is actually a great question. At his age you would not expect anything but a loan as preparation. He is coming with teh reputation and the timeing that may seem him stay with the first team squad after January when he arrives. Certainly one for the future.}

Hey ed, are chelsea targeting mark hughes? I've heard that he's quit his job at fulham to take the hot seat at chelsea to oversee a huge spending spree like he did at man city and that guus hiddink will be the director of football regardless. Safe tings {Ed002's Note - I would guess probably not.}

Ed can you tell me all the possible players chelsea might get>? please :] {Ed002's Note - It is impossible sadly. You see, what if Chelsea fail to offer enough money for a target; what if his club won't sell; what if the player won't move?}

Hey Ed, just to make things clear then, if Turkey lose their next game to Belgium, will Hiddink most likely be coming to Chelsea? And also, Do you see us just buying a winger (Neymar?), a Center forward (Lukaku?), and a creative midfielder (Pastore?) then? Thanks

{Ed002's Note - I suspect that Hiddink will move to Chelsea regardless. There are still issues to be resolved though - particularly what happens in the future. Chelsea will be a number f players to fill various positions. I am not going to try and second guess who in all cases.}

Just a question Ed, who was the main person negotiating with Liverpool FC for the transfer of Fernando Torres? Was it Frank Arsenen or the lady behind the scenes which is thought to be Abramovich's right hand or even Mr.Roman himself. True Blue Through and Through {Ed002's Note - None of those three.}

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea made an offer a while ago - not recently. As I previously explained (and nobody bothered reading - hence no more updates), the club have had representatives speak with the owners of his economic rights Santos and Grupo DIS. The third party involvement of TEISA is somewhat irrelevant as their agreement is with Santos but does require a minimum return on their investment of 3% of the value of the player (5% of the Santos ownership). There are financial issues which would need to be resolved related to Grupo DIS who value their 40% at a different level than Santos values their 60%.}

-----------------------------
Oh right DIS group what more then what Santos want or vice versa cheers for clearing that up, Do you think Chelsea will try and sort this before the Copa America starts ED002?

----------------------------
{Ed002's Note - Right. I don't know of any schedule for resolving this. I very much doubt it will be tied to the CA in July.}

Hi Ed,

Is Gervinho a possibilty to sign as im sure he could fir the role of right winger/ second striker?

Also what is the possibility of like u say Aguero - R.Madrid then knock on from that is G. Higuain - Juve if we wanted either of them two is there any other targets that will take Nico and Salla's place when they eventually move on this summer??

cheers for ur work! {Ed002's Note - No Gervinho bid will be made; slim chance of Aguero and it is not worth discussing Higuain yet.}

hello ed. Will zhirkov leave if hiddinks comes in to coach. Also what do you think are the chances of milan lalkovic and gokhan tore making the first. Hi, Ed,

I'm disappointed to see Mancienne go, and possibly also Cork, and I think that there is huge potential amongst the youngsters. On which topic have you noticed that Hiddinck has called Gokhan Tore up to the senior Turkish squad for tomorrow? So we have another full international left winger (only 19 years) if Zhirkov and Malouda move on. We need to make more of the kids!

Anderlecht striker Romelu Lukaku says he is expecting to complete a reported £18 million move to Chelsea at by next Monday.

By ESPN official webpage.

If this is true would be incredible. Hot prospect, but we should give him on loan to any low-table Premier League team.

If we also get Neymar we will have an incredible attacking pair in a few years. Big target man as Lukaku and fast and skillfull one as Neymar

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

So where exactly does 50million Torres fit in to that equation?

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Lukaku should go on loan, so Torres will fit perfectly with Neymar. And in a couple of years we can play with a 4-3-3, with Neymar, Lukaku and Torres upfront. Remember that Neymar is not a pure CF, he can play as AMR or AML.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Oh, I understand that Neymar is a winger, but the dilemma is the CF position, because both Torres and Lukaku are primarily Center forwards. So if Neymar (for example) is playing in the right-wing position, who is going to play in the left-wing position? Thanks

Hi Ed, just saw on the sky sports website that Chelsea have not made an offer for Neymar. I always thought we had made an offer and it was accepted by the club? just wondering if you have any thought on this news Ed? thanks very much. great site btw, im always looking on this for news.

Hi Ed, Please could you tell me if Javier Pastore is chelseas number one midfield target? and then if not him it will carry on to, Marko Marin, Marek Hamsik, Dimitri Payet (more of a winger), Alexis Sanchez (not likely) and others??

Marin, Hamsik should be targets as well as Diego, VDW, A.Young, Lukaku(long term replacment for Drogba).

Chelsae has bring new blood. Lampard, Drogba, Anelka are almost at the end of career they all have year of first team football. A.Cole is over 30 and I am not sure that Van Aanholt is proper replacement. If Bosingwa leaves probable target is VDW but he might be target of MU as well. Creative CM is a problem so my opinion is that CFC should try to sign Gorcouff, Diego, Sneider, VDV, Modric, Kranjcar one or 2 those players. Neymar is probably coming as well as Lukaku 20m loan to Anderlecht for 12 months. VDW is coming too. Still don't know is Aguero a targert? Kakuta&Sturidge are coming back from loan. Rajkovic can be finaly registred since he played last 2 games for his national team. With Neymar on his way to CFC Kalou will probably leave. I think since AW would like to get Kalou to Arsenal CFC should try Kalou+40m for Fabregas wich would be one of greatest signigs ever.

Ok so its not looked at as a number one target and then 2, 3, 4 etc.?? because i remember when we were after Dani Alves for right back position and when we couldnt get him we went for our number 2 option who was Belletti at the time. . cheers ed!

I think if someone comes in for Drogba he will be allowed to leave AC milan now have an possible interest.City out the Sanchez equation will Chelsea miss out on Aguero maybe another try for Sanchez may be on the cards, Pastore seems no1 target for our CAM if not then i would defo chase Modric, Would Cavani be allowed to leave Napoli this year ED002?

BLUEBLOOD! {Ed002's Note - Drogba will be allowed to leave if he wants to go - the club will not sell him if he is happy to stay. Napoli still want to make the move of Cavani permanent and offer up a player, cash and part ownership of a couple of youngsters. Part of the problem is that the player they wish to offer Palermo (Fabio Quagliarella) is on a loan deal to Juventus with an option to buy at the end of the loan, albeit he is out injured right now. Manchester City, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal have at one time shown an interest. I think it is likely that a significant offer will be made for Cavani by Manchester City.}

Hey ed, what are your thoughts on this lukaku situation? I was wondering what is the point of spending 25 odd million on a player who a) we don't need and b) will go against the belief of 'changing the way we play'. Instead we should be looking for two wingers and a cam. . do you agree Ed? and do you know if were looking at players of these positions?

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea, Spurs, Real Madrid, Juventus, Barcelona, Liverpool, Arsenal, Ajax, AC Milan have shown an interest over recent months. Anderlecht want €30M and priced the player out of the market. His agent is now hawking him around a number of clubs trying to muster up interest. Chelsea have made clear the fee they are willing to pay and it is nothing like £25M. I suspect Spurs have done the same. The player is young and unproven and I have no strong feelings about him - so if he arrives then fine, and if no, fine. There are certainly other positions where Chelsea are looking at players. As a winger, there remains interest in Willian - although I am not keen.}
