There is info that PSG has offered more than Chelsea for Cavani. IMO today Rooney spoke to Moyes, most probably he decided to leave MU. It was so obvious he was and 1 PSG target, but he most probably wants to work with Mourinho. Two years a go he handed transfer request to RM. The same thing is happening now only club this time is Chelsea. I am certain Rooney is Chelsea prime target. Second target is Cavani. That is why PSG is trying to get at least one of them otherwise Chelsea will dominate European football. for next5 years.
Cavani is a far better player than Rooney, Ed has said many times before that Cavani is first choice with Rooney a possible fallback.
