Yes and pigs might fly! If Chelsea are willing to pay 28m for Neymar now then why did they not buy him out of his clause of 27m in the summer?
Well is clause is 37m now so good luck with your VERY UNLIKELY 28m bid.
Like i said, i tend to believe Roman when he says he will no longer sanction big money signings and bumper contracts unless Chelsea can pay for it themselves. The only way Neymar will ever play in England is if City buy him, and with Tevez, Santa Cruz & Adebayor leaving and City having a great relationship with Santos i fully expect them to buy Neymar.

Editor do you expect Chelsea to sign Neymar in January or by the end of the season and do you think Chelsea will pay the hefty price tag? {ed's note - I have spoken to the Chelsea supporting editor about this a fair bit over the summer, both of us believe the Chelsea will end up paying the extra money rather than have to fight a case against tapping up the player. With their recent history regarding Kakuta, it might be difficult for them to win a tapping up case and so easier to just pay a bit extra to get the player and avoid punishment.}
Ed don't you think yourself and this Chelsea supporting Ed should wise up a bit? There is no way on earth Chelsea will be making ANY big signings from now on, Roman has made that very clear, and if you had any football knowledge whatsoever you would know this.
Chelsea are struggling with their accounts, which is why they are trying to sell the naming rights on Stamford Bridge, Roman & Buck have both said that they are in favour of a salary cap and they have also put a salary cap on Chelsea's wages of just 80k a week. Chelsea have not made a signing of over 20m since Essien, Chelsea made a 16.6m move for Neymar in the summer and refused to go any higher, instead they tried to tap him up like they did with Kakuka but it failed.
Neymar has a 37m buy out clause, do you or this Chelsea Ed seriously believe Roman would agree to this after refusing to go higher than 16.6m in the summer? Roman has made it clear that there will be no more big money signings or bumper contracts at Chelsea football club!
Ed why don't you or 99% of Chelsea supporters believe what Roman & Buck have said? {ed's note - find me a quote that says any of that then. Because they spent big on Ramires in the summer and they still have to buy a player to replace Drogba and Anelka in the near future. If you actually listen to what was really said, they were talking about not buying lots of big players like in the past. They did mention reducing the wage bill too, but Neymar is not on high wages.}

There is no denying that Chelsea needs an injection of youth in their squad especially at right back and up top. I think considering Ferriera's age and Bosingwa being inconsistent(fitness wise) a new young right back is needed and Ferriera should be released. I say Van der Wiel although he looks Man U bound or probably Fiorentina's Lorenzo Di Silvestri. In the end in I think Chelsea will sign Neymar but other players should be considered like Kaka, Dzagoev or Hazard. What do you think ED? {ed's note - I wouldn't be surprised to see Kaka end up at Chelsea, though I do worry if he will ever be the same player again. He is certainly going to struggle to get in the Real Madrid team, it would make sense for them to sell him.}
