Only pre season and only second game, few signs of great play but final result. Sarri must know he needs that spark from wings. Callum Hudson Odoi looking ready for his spot, can / will cause havoc in Europa league. Alonso seems bit lost in this style.
Bakyoko, drinkwater, Piazon, kalas will be be moving on. Piazon to Fulham I reckon. Drinkwater to West Ham, Bakyoko to Sevilla when nzonzi goes and kalas to boro again. Some of our football is so refreshing and once hazard back in and few attaching additions we will be putting teams away early. jorginho could come in and be captain, he's so vocal and such a player. Sarri ball will take some time though.

Morata showing good signs but Sarri says, 'we want to keep our best players but not at all costs'. Does this raise a question mark about Morata's future? Time will tell. I see no reason why a good player wouldn't want to play under a manager like Sarri. I want Morata to stay cos he will develop massively under Sarri.
I see why Sarri wants Rugani and Vecino- indeed Bakayoko and Drinkwater should be moved on.
Good signs all over really. Jorginho is too good- natural leader.

I thought Morata was quite poor apart from first 20
Mins. It showed he isn’t suitable to this type of football when Barkley broke from midfield and has the inter defence ahead of him. Morata was just standing there as he surged past him. If that was me and remember he had the summer off, I’d be busting a gut to get into
Position. Pre season or not. But he didn’t. He just stood there. Disappointing and wouldn’t care if he left.

It really looked as if Morata didn’t have the legs to make runs after the first 25 minutes or so. Pedro I thought looked lively. I do like what I’ve seen so far, get our other World Cup players back and in training in this system and I think we’ll be set up well. Would like another wide player and midfielder also.

CFCAdam and Matt be patient with Morata, this is the first time Morata has got to press a defense line that much since I've being watching him as a footballer. It's not easy to do what he did today considering the fact that he doesn't play like that before now, he will grow into that role and build more stamina as he plays more. He can only improve cos he's got good technical ability and speed. Morata will adapt and I think he will peak again.

Have Patience? Mate. This is his second season, he spent the majority of last season on his arse. He should have plenty of energy levels, yet couldn’t care that Barkley had broken ahead of him and left him with no options. He had a full summers rest too.

CFCAdam, I see your point and you are right but let's believe Morata will improve and stay away from injury (as do Barkley) . What I won't stand for is to replace Morata with Higuain or a striker that isn't young. The only striker that I will give Morata for at the moment is Icardi or Mbappe. I want us to have a young squad.

Yep I don't want Higuain either! But just don't think Morata, Tammy or Bats is the answer neither!
