I remain optimistic Roman finds a way to steal either Falcao, Cavani or Hulk but worst case would Adebayor be someone we would consider for a couple years, he looks to be available on the cheap and proven goal scorer who can play the lone striker role for us. Then we can steal Moura under Man United noses, it would be great!!!

A few years ago i would say no way to adebayor however last season he had good form so just as a backup for a few years might be a good shout but hes stupidly demanding

Yeah he is fantastic. he would be a better replacement for Cech

We won't get either of those 2 this summer

That's my opinion and not necessarily what is going to happen. Actually, I don't think what Cavani said will put off our effort to sign him. I would like to see what he has to say if we launch a bid for him.

None of these transfers are out of the question.

At this rate, Soldado or Lewendowski seem the most likely.

Any news on benayoun to fulham or west ham as he has been left out if the squad for tonight's game.

Would we be interested in taking Andy Carroll on loan as hulk and cavani are being priced out of a move. Carroll is not the best,but has similar qualities to didier ( strong,great header and a great left foot). Obviously I would prefer hulk/cavani or falcao but maybe an option if we cannot get one of those. At least with a loan he can always go back if it doesn't work out.

ChelseaL {Ed002's Note - Muniain was touted around the clubs on behalf of Bilbao in January - and the two clubs in England that were approached were Chelsea and Manchester United. The asking price was 40M euros. They won't get it because I don't think clubs would risk half of that on a player who is young and has had some off field issues. If the price comes down to a reasonable level (20M euros might be an acceptable figure) I can see interest from several English clubs including Manchester United and Liverpool. Napoli and Roma interest is still there and rumours abound of Juventus and Malaga interest but perhaps an eventual move to Barcelona beckons.}

This is who iwoulg lik to see in blue. ok hes not versatile like hulk and able to play up top but he is a class act. perfect for the right wing, just would mean we would have to buy a striker aswell. BLUEBOY1

If Terry gets banned. We would need to invest in a RB - which we're doing. Then Ivan can play either. However, if either Cahill, Luiz gets a bad injury early doors with a likely Terry ban, we might struggle
