I was wondering if there was any truth in these rumours regarding Gary Cahill moving or whether it was just tabloid junk. If it is truest you think chelsea will go back into the market for another centre back as we already lost djilobodji this month or is miazga seen as a replacement.

{Ed002's Note - Firstly I don't know what Gary Cahill wants but right now the interim manager is picking Kurt Zouma ahead of him. Whilst Chelsea are just about to sign a new centre back they have let one leave (who won't be coming back). As such it seems unlikely that Chelsea would want to sell in January but if an acceptable offer were made then the club would not stand in the way of Cahill if he wanted to leave. It is also fair to say that Chelsea are aware of another side who will look for a deal for Cahill in the coming days, whether or not they will offer sufficient money I don't know.}

hello Ed002 sorry to ask but i have read the posts and can't find any information regarding a few transfer rumors going around wondered if you could let us know if there is any truth to these.

1. are we interested in robin van persie

2.there is talk of a swap deal for remy plus cash for vardy are we interest in vardy at all?

3. lastly is there anything new to report regarding ins and outs since your last post

{Ed002's Note - (1) No, RvP will not be moving to Chelsea this month. (2) I can't imagine any such deal has been proposed. (3) Yes there has been some movement in respect of two players I previously discussed but said that they were unlikely for January. I am rather loathe to provide any detail now as it led to me being questioned about one (Matt Miazga) last night and then a whole bunch of abuse.}

Ed002 myself and all other true fans of the site would hate to loose your input so can I just implore posters to see sense and stop the needless abuse. How anyone can question a player that ed listed in a very comprehensive list just because he had him as unlikely!? He was in the list for got sake so ed002 obviously gave us a good heads up!

Hope Chelsea get a quality attacjing plater in before the window closes.
