Right I just want to calm down all the excitement over the last few hours. Has Radamel Falcao actually signed for us or is it all a bunch of BS thats travelling around on fake accounts. I heard that he hit a Hat-trick at the weekend against Bilbao and Chelsea just suddenly renewed their interest in him. Could someone PLEASE tell me whats going on?

Load of BS imo. They are hardly going to sell him with only a few days to go,especially before he plays us. Be very VERY surprised if it happens.

Chelsea haven't signed falcao. Funny how rumour is 10 million euros less than what athletico paid for him,! Think about it people, surely ed001 or definetly ed018 would have confirmed this,

Its quoted as £37 mil

Even tho i dont think this deal will happen i wish to prove you wrong ,,, falcao was bought for 40 million euro and the supposed fee that chelsea have offered is 37 million pounds which comes to 46 million euro ,, 6 million more what athletico paid for him , i rest my case

ed018 over on the liverpool page Macca a very reliable source said he expects chelsea to spend big this week have you heard who we are looking to bring in now that cavani has signed a new dea with napoli? {Ed018's Note - i expect a continued effort for a striker, which will more than likely result in big spending. i really don't expect anything else. at least how it stands as of right now}

Has ED002 told u anything ED018? he stopped providing info for us but has he told u anything? {Ed018's Note - i haven't talked to him in a few days, and i believe he is currently traveling and won't be around much this week}

Danny Sturrudge leaving Chelsea rumour is gathering pace, all i know is club wouldnt have sent Lukaku on loan and be prepared to let Sturridge go without being confident of 1 more striker signing.
Mixed views on Danny, lots of talent, but 1 year left and refusing to sign a new contract, leaves the club in a tough spot. Hulk, Schurrle or Jovetic would be my guess as Studges replacement

Not saying it will or won't happen... But don't be shocked if Falcao does play his last AM game in the Supercup... With the club in debt, certain clubs might try and thrash out a deal... And I've been told reliably at least 2 EPL clubs maintain strong interest... So could be a very long and revelating night for a certain pair of strikers, one coming in, one going out...

P.S. ED018/ED002: is it true we sent scouts to Marseille Montpellier to watch Montpelliers 23 year old captain Yapou Manga M'Biwa? Certain sources claim we did but I don't trust them unlike the fact I trust you. Cheers. {Ed018's Note - I don't doub the fact that we scouted him, but i'd be suprised if any move is made}

I wouldnt complain with falcao i hope we get him or atleastg another top striker
at the same time i dont think sturridge should go hes selfish at the moment but when he matures should be a good player

I really hope we go and do our very best to sign Falcao, watched this guy vs Atletico Bilbao last night and this guy is so dangerous in and around the box. He scored a hatrick less than an hour through. i reckon we should just bid £50m.

Yeah so he says now, but if you offer 50 mill to a club with massive debts they are going to accept and if your club has just accepted a bid for you from the champions of Europe you are going to listen.

Doesn't it feel great when everybody is referring to us as the European Champions.
I mean previously if a team lost to us they were saying that they lost to the League Champions or that they lost to a top 4 side.
Now, when they are getting beaten by us they are saying they lost lost to THE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS.
It has sure enough made us an elite club forever.
Thanks to everyone who was involved for the tremendous effort.

Report from Portugal say that Hulk will sign new contract with Porto and it include reduced buyout clause......so apparently no more hulk or cavani rumor in this transfer window at least (Thanks God).

I think a ton of pundits are looking at the 25 point gap between us and the manchester clubs and righting us off which is rediculous. My biggest complaint with it all is we played 6 more games than them with us having played 61 and they played 55. You have these six games but then you must also take into account the fact that as soon as these teams got bounced from the cl they played scrubs in the europa league. You also must take into account that we were playing our second team in many of our final premier league games (liverpool, arsenal, and others). I think this season we are more than capable of competing against both of these teams but the biggest thing will be how Robbie prioritizes the different competitions.

Agreed, we look like we are building a squad that will be able to challenge for a lot of comps this year, unlike last year when the depth was very poor. I cant see us throwing points away as often as we did last year. Hopefully we can pick up at least three trophies this season (Super cup, Club world cup and another), and hopefully more!

Ed 002, I was just wondering what the situation was with yossi benayoun. Could you shed any light on it please? RDM stated that he's happy with the squad and doesn't expect any departures or arrivals. I just went on the website and there was no shirt or player profile available for benayoun but there was for every other player (even malouda!). Benayoun said on his official twitter account that he had to make the correct decision on his future. Would love to see them both leave for spurs.
