just want to let people who don't already know know that when it says chelsea have agreed a deal for van der wiel worth 32million that means all his wages for his 5 years at the club. The fee is not 32million but a lesser undisclosed amount.

Phew. Thought that was hell of lotta money for a player earlier quoted at being priced at around 10-15 million. Cheers for the insight, if true.

It was a cut and paste ed, something that you can do when you lit the words rom another report like a newspaper article online {Ed001's Note - you can also edit it to leave out the line breaks every couple of words, not really difficult to do you know.}

Argh dont worry man Arsenal was playing crap and the goals were not all impressive to be fair it was a test for the inexperienced arsenal side which will have to fight for a europa league spot for next season. Chelsea will go all the way we got the depth and a hungry manager and team ;)

ED, do you know who is most likely to be our final signing of the season or if anyone else is coming in at all? I think with one last high quality signing preferably in center midfield we can be strong challengers this season. {Ed018's Note - i think there will be 2 more signings yet}

Two midfilders; one defensive and an offensive one, otherwise get sneijder , hes got them both. also tell avb to relief lampard of the hard football labour, he is tired ,hes weak and slow. bench him now

With a move to Manchester United now unlikely - and having been turned down by Manchester City - Sneijder could get his England move with Chelsea. Any truth in this ed? {Ed018's Note - i don't think so. i just don't see how they would ever come to terms on the wages}

Hes 27, would have no resale value and his wages are going to be at best around 200k a week. Its just not plausable or justifiable. Thiago Alacantara would be a better bet, young, low wages and a player for the future who is not going to get the playing time he wants this year.

A Dream too good to be true

His resale value is irrelevant. Torres is 27 and the club will never get money like that for him again. His wage demands are insane, only city would be able to match them. Thiago is not moving this year. He is an incredible talent I agree, but so is Josh. No point in buying another talented youngster who's been knocking around a first team squad for a year, albeit a very good first team squad.

Great player, but the wage demands are too much if he would agree to lower them then great but can't see it happening, Modric is still gonna come.

ed002, has been a solid start to the season. Mata looks exceptional talent, with Lukaku a monster in att and Sturidge coming back in after a pretty stellar pre season is beginning to give me confidence.

The question I have is does Hulk have a preference for where he may eventually move to if he does leave porto? did AVB and Hulk have a good relationship? Would he want to follow his former coach?
I realise you cannot speak for Hulk or AVB so I am asking if either of the two has publicly stated such things?

Obviously I think the bloke would bring an unmatchable creative quality, and teaming up with mata looks traumatising for oppisition defences across the world.

Do you expect a move for him any time soon?

It will be very high, Napoli have very rich owners now so dont need to sell any of there top players, the only way we could get him is if the playr comes out and says he wants a move. You'd be looking at in excess of £25M+ easily which is alot of money.

I don't think thats much of an issue for Chelsea, if they want him then im more than sure they will get him. I for one have'nt seen enough of the player to comment or make an estimate.

I reckon 25 to 30m would be a fair price. A great player who could really improve our team. I would love to see him or Mario Gotze move to the bridge.

Krasic would be a better option as it would allows to move on the deadwood that is Malouda. FM and 20m ould get us Krasic and he can play anywhere along the midfield line.

Ed, is it right for these supposadly loyal Chelsea fans to judge and boo certain players? Personally I dont think it helps with any confidence issues the player may be having and what not. Malouda today did'nt look to great, but I think Mata will now be his successor. For me using a player like Malouda as cover from the bench is'nt all that bad, so for me i'd say our left wing was pretty much covered. as for the right im not so sure, ppl seem to think that Sturridge will play there though correct me if i'm wrong but i'm sure he specificaly said something about only wanting to play as an out and out striker and knowhere else did'nt he? Even if he did'nt I still don't see it being as effective as say playing an out an out right winger there instead. Or even bringing in a top class wing bk rather. What are your thoughts on this ed and what would you say the chances of a more right sided player coming in would be? {Ed002's Note - I think fans should get behind the players at the club and give them support. Sturridge played well on the right in pre-season - don't write him off just yet.}

Hi ED, Malouda of recent has seen a drop in form and with fresh reports of him departing coupled with poor performances i was just wondering what our transfer situation is regaurding the wing position and if where scouting any of the following ie; Watching brief, enquires, talks between clubs and or bids for example.

Daily mail say that Roman Abramovich has offered 40 million for modric and if all else fails we will go for Wesley Sneijder , malouda plus 27 million
