During the last transfer window it appeared that we were very close to buying Marco Reus, at one stage with the possibility of Schurrle going the other way, it was then stated that it had collapsed for a non-footballing reason. Can you remember/know what that reason was?

Hi ed002 am happy to see a post from you (but don't want to jump the gun if you are not "back"). Is there any update/progress Chelsea are making with any signings that you would be able to update us with?

Has there been further abuse ed? Please would it be possible to introduce an instant permanent ban on any posters who abuse the eds? I think any genuine fan of this site would prefer to loose them than your input!

This is a rumour site & for most of us the first and last port of call for all things Chelsea Transfer related.
I mean no disrespect to any of the others Ed's but You are clearly the most well informed of the bunch, at least on Chelsea Related issues.
If You're not going to be posting on here it's quite clearly not going to be the same and that is a real shame.

I dunno what some joker has said to offend You but I like to think the vast majority of posters here are genuine and just want proper quality insight from someone in the know.

I thought the whole point of having to have a sign on was so that We all know whose posting and what they're posting?

I ask You to please reconsider letting some internet oik have You turn Your back on Fans who just want quality info on Our Club.

Ed002, real shame to hear that(not returning for now)however, it is entirely your choice. It seems that no matter how much(and often)the regulars on here voice their support for you the "knuckle draggers" seem to override the good people. It is disappointing from my point of view that whilst the posts of your supporters here seem to have little effect on you the posts of a few idiots are taken to heart. Perhaps the posts should be shown rather than deleted, then look out, cause we on here will have your back.
Really hope to see you back at some stage, but if we don't then a huge Thank You from us and all the very best.

I respect Your decision as no one should have to take abuse in Life but I do not agree with it.

I don't know if the Ed's own this site, work for the site or volunteer for the site but I understand that any comments posted go through a filter process, so any rude, nasty or disrespectful comments should not be making it through and the poster if possible should be blocked/banned.

I appreciate someone still has to view the comments in order to prevent them being posted but people will always make stupid comments in Life, especially with the anonimity of the internet.
It's not OK but it happens unfortunately.

I only hope You will continue to keep us informed with any valuable info as & when it becomes available as that's why the majority of us are here.

As for the time constraints well that can't be helped I guess.
