ED is it true Inter won't let Coutinho leave unless they sign Paulinho? {Ed002's Note - I don't know what the provisions of the agreement are but obviously no contract will be signed before a medical is passed and a work permit obtained. They need a replacement for Sneijder and would like Paulinho ideally - but cost is an issue. Hence they are also looking to others.}

Is Bony Newcastle-bound? {Ed002's Note - Wilfried Bony has been of interest to Newcastle and has been a player Chelsea have been considering for a while. Recently there has also been varying degrees of interest from Marseille, Aston Villa, QPR, Liverpool, Everton and a couple of German sides (Hamburg and Schalke) but of these only Marseille seems to still have interest. It would not be a surprise to see interest from other teams, possibly Napoli and Roma. The player has said he would like to join Chelsea. Whilst an offer has been made by Newcastle efforts are still being made to get interest from Russia, any move in January is by no means certain and he will be away at the ACON until the middle of February.}

Ed, are the club aware of the shortage of centre midfielders at the club? As in are they looking at bringing a player in that area with a few days left in the transfer window.

We really should start sending players out on 6 month loans instead of full season ones, then in jan we can look at where they're at and if the club needs them then either send them back on loan or keep them. This would've been useful with De Bruyne, Lukaku, and maybe even Van Aanholt, Kalas and Kakuta

There is also the option of agreeing a recall clause. Lukaku's deal had such an option but Chelsea chose to let him stay at WBA.
