If we can bid 40 mill for aguero and the reported 60 million for torres why can't we offer a couple million more for luiz and why can't we bid more for alexis sanchez as udinese said they would only sell him for alot of money but we bid alot for aguero

Benfica have just said, regarding the luiz transfer : "A negotiation process is currently ongoing and the market will be informed when it is completed, "
Does anyone else think this seems like a resignation to losing him? Notice the "when" instead of if. Ed what are your thoughts? Thank you {ed's note - nothing to add to that mate, it is ongoing and likely to be completed before the window shuts.}

Ed, with only 4 1/2 days left in the window, are we not leaving it a little fine with no certain acquisitions coming in? do you also know if We are closer than it seems with a player?
