Chelsea and Barcelona are on alert over Alexandre Pato's potential availability at AC Milan. Pato's injury problems are a concern for Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani and he is now on trial to prove his class leading up to the summer market. Milan media sources say the Brazilian is no longer 'unsaleable' and is effectively on trial for the remainder of this season. If his consistency doesn't improve, the Rossoneri will be prepared to sell - and even his relationship with director Barbara Berlusconi will not save him. Any truth to this rumor ed? {Ed002's Note - I doubt it at the moment.}

Ed02 there is about man city wanting tevez/di Maria swap. D you think real Madrid are going to be open to this? Don't really see them needing another striker. Would love di maria to Chelsea, are talks from the past window still continuing between Real and Chelsea? {Ed002's Note - It is as I have already explained. Kia Joorabchian has been trying to arrange a meeting with Miguel Pardeza to see what options are available. Real Madrid will offer Khedira s part of the deal but Manchester City will look to a straight exchange for Di Maria. And that is it.}

Talk sport is reporting that Chelsea are interested in Parma attacking midfielder Sebastian Giovinco. Any news on this Ed?

Also Inside Futbol is reporting Chelsea are in line to sign 17yr old striker Lazar Markovic from Partizan who is being dubed the new "Stevan Jovetic". Any truth in this Ed?

I dont know about Giovinco, and i doubt this about Markovic, he did say for the pres that his fauvorite club is Chelsea but I doubt that Partizan is wiling to let him go.
Anyway he is a young striker, very explosive not very similar to Jovetic also great speed and finishing.

Giovinco is more likely to go back to Juventus

Giovinco is a good creative player but he's been criticized as a light weight in Italy. Doubt he could cut it in the prem.
