Hi Ed002, just read on the Man United page that there is a very good chance that Madrid will lose Varane. Would that be because of chelsea or are there other teams involved as well trying to get him to sign?

I don't see how Real Madrid would let the best young centre back in the world leave. Real Madrid buy the best players in the world, they don't sell them. Only thing I can think is they are considering selling him to raise funds for purchases. Is this the case Ed002? Would Real Madrid consider selling him? Many thanks.
{Ed002's Note - Whilst they don't want to sell Varane, Real Madrid are aware of Chelsea's interests and are aware the might lose him. As such they have been considering replacements.}
Would this effect zouma's chances of getting first team football or was there a plan that he going to be loaned out?
