ED002 Leandro Damianos agent met with sandro rosell is barca the most likely destination for him? {Ed002's Note - It is one option. Damiao seems to be of interest to several clubs at the moment not least AC Milan who want him to replace Cassano but need to free up a non EU quota spot to buy him. Spurs and Arsenal have apparently have taken a look recently as have Porto and PSG. His agent is talking up offers but that will probably not be anything to do with transfer fees, just possible wages. Over the summer there was also interest from Juve, Roma, Lyon, Sporting Lisbon and Barcelona have shown some interest in the past two months.}

Why do they want to sell cassano? {Ed002's Note - They don't. He has just undergone heart surgery.}

Kia Joorabchain in talks with AC Milan over a move for Tevez surely this must mean Pato will leave ED02? {Ed002's Note - Pato is available, it is nothing whatsoever to do with Tevez though. Joorabchian's talks with Milan are happening because proposed talks with Miguel Pardeza have been spurned.}

Hi Ed does this mean there may be a chance that we go for Pato? {Ed002's Note - I very much doubt it.}

ed r we interested in marco reus {Ed002's Note - Reus has been playing well and has a growing reputation - enough to alert Bayern Munich - his likely destination at some point. They have been interested since the early summer. Additionally Juventus, Manchester City, Arsenal and even his old club Dortmund have shown an interest in Reus, but a move in January seems unlikely.}

Any Chance of Erikson signing this january Ed? {Ed002's Note - Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea and AC Milan have shown an interest in Eriksen. He has already rejected both Manchester City and Chelsea (after Chelsea twice turned him down after trials) but AC Milan remain the most interested club right now. Back in mid July someone from the Milan Press Office said he had heard of interest from Manchester United - but I am not aware of any confirmation of that interest just yet. I suspect that Barcelona will push for the player and AC Milan will turn there attention elsewhere.}

ed do we have any genuine interest in van wolfswinkel and seydou doumbia
doumbia cud happen as there league finishes in january and i think he wud score bags of goals 4 us {Ed002's Note - Van Wolfswinkel no. There has been an enquiry from Newcastle about Doumbia and it is likely if there is another team who have actually enquired it will be Arsenal. Chelsea and no doubt others have had scouts at games but that is some way from making any enquiries for the player. Doumbia does a good job of talking himself up and CSKA will likely want £25M or so for the player.}

Hey ed., do you know of any interest in Hamsik? {Ed002's Note - Not right now. There is a slim chance that Hamsik could move this winter - perhaps Manchester City and AC Milan would be the likely choices. }

Morning Ed: Is there any plans to look at goalkeepers in the transfer window as Peter Cech as not been on form this season and has cost us several games so far? {Ed002's Note - No, a goalkeeper was bought in the summer.}

Believable2 Unbelievable2

I don't think Cech has 'cost us' any games. Poor defending and decision-making, linked with an inability to get in to a rhythm in the game is what I see as costing us so far this season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Petr cech has not been at his normal high standard but our defence has been very shakey. you cant blame cech when he is put in one on one positions

ed inter milan are trying to lower there out goings by selling players next year i would love to see sneijder at the bridge perfect player for our system any thoughts of possible midfield action {Ed001's Note - you know City and United both pulled out of a move for Sneijder because of his ludicrous wage demands don't you? Can you imagine just how much you would need to ask for to have City say it is too much?}

EDs - Is Ibrahim Affelay an Interesting player in your view ,and is he a possible target for us ?...and if yes, then how much would he cost ?
he is not even a second or third choice in Barca with Pedro, Sanchez and even youngster Thiago Alcantara are all ahead of him in terms of opportunity... {Ed001's Note - he is injured! Out till March at the earliest.}

Morning Ed, is there any truth in the Kaka rumours coming out this morning or is it just recycled rubbish from a few years back? {Ed002's Note - Seems unlikely.}

2 most likely siginings that could happen in january are gary cahill and kevin de bruyne. But would they be able to relieve chelseas sufferings this season....

Cahils team is in bottom half of table and have conceeded a plethora of goals. would he be able to step up at chelsea? I think he is being considered only because of his expiring contract and asture price tag. Otherwise a shift from subotic to cahill makes little sense.

Kevin de bruyne is a promising lad that could become a great player in future. But at present when chelsea needs huge improvements in midfield, he might struggle initially. Epl is more physical than belgian league and also chelsea have notorious reputation of giving younsters few minutes of playing time and that also once in a blue moon...

So in my opinion these signings could be good for next seasons,, but i don't see chelsea winning epl or champ league with the.
