Hello Ed. Can you confirm rumours of Bayern hijacking Chelsea's move for Isco are true? {Ed002's Note - Bayern has an interest as well.}

Believable3 Unbelievable10

Thats the end of that then..Pep on the phone..done deal.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hasn't he just signed a new contract though, with a £30m release clause? {Ed002's Note - I have explained that.}

Doubtful they would bid against us since they are trying to get Marko Marin of us. But you never know.

Agree0 Disagree0

Where did you get that, Marin to Bayern lol? If any, they need another no.10 like Isco, not another winger, they already have Robben, Ribery, Shaqiri and also Muller.

Agree0 Disagree0

Robben is supposed to be on his way out (just rumour)

ed, to you personally - are you monitoring the AFCON, if yes then are we scouting any player in the competition .......

thanks in advance Blueprint {Ed002's Note - I have no knowledge of Chelsea being interested in any players at the AFCON but there will be someone keeping an eye out no doubt.}

ED regarding Isco Malaga say that he is close to signing a new deal with a higher release clause is this correct?

BLUEBLOOD {Ed002's Note - As I have explained, Malaga are looking to have Isco sign a new long-term contract because they do fear a move for the player this month. Malaga wanted 21M euros and are now negotiating an increase in a termination clause to 42M euros, using a pay rise to tempt the player to agree.

However, Malaga may yet be forced in to a sale this month due to an impending debt that needs to be paid in March. As such, a good offer for the player might still be accepted by them and efforts continue to see if that might be possible.}

Believable6 Unbelievable5

Is it Chelsea that is negoitiating with them {Ed002's Note - Cheslea are involved, yes.}

Agree1 Disagree0

Ed do you expect anything to materialise?

WheelyCFC {Ed002's Note - What I expect is irrelevant really.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree... but thts why we like this site because a few of us appreciate your opinion!

WheelyCFC {Ed002's Note - The answer then is I don't know if it will or not.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol cheers!

who at chelsea decided to go into the season with such a lack of depth to the squad. We knew the ACN was in Jan and the world club cup would be extra pressure to the squad. Plus we brought in young players who may have needed time to settle.
Love all the new players, but surely back up was needed. Essien may not be the force he once was but he could do a job in certain games. Several of the loan players should have been recalled in Jan, especially KDB. Even players like Bamford could have
been gaining experience on the bench.

If we are to buy a DM in Jan would like to see the guy from Shanktar who bossed Ramires ( fernandinio ?)

Believable9 Unbelievable4

I completely agree it beggars belief that we go into the most packed fixture schedule in the clubs history with the weakest squad for ten years at least numerically.
That wasnt down to Robbie that's for sure so presmably the buck stops primarily with Emenalo & then the board.
I also agree about the type of player we need, its definately an Essien Mk 2 not another tricky midfield player like Isco.
But this is what happens when a board starts playing championship manager without the real knowledge of what is involved in winning trophies.
Lets pray that Jose returns and puts this to rights sooner rather than later.

Nonsense...
Y do you wan jose...he is never loyal to anyclub..
Y did he left inter and went to real..
he want spotlight...and te be the world best..
he will come chelsea...win for 2 season..and will trouble the managment..and will probably go to germany..the only league left..

he will also probaly give lampard another contract..bring back drogba..and we will never move forward...

end of then story...
y don't we try klopp...the guy is quality...a pure genius..
this current team of chelsea if you include falcao..will staill fail to match klopp dortumand.

Agree0 Disagree0

Jose is the best manager in World football..statistical FACT.
He has achieved everything he set out to and is a better manager than when he left us unlike our club and team.
Even 3/4 years of Jose would transform our club.
Klopp is unproven outside of Germany and a very particular situation at his club.
And most importantly RA knows Jose and would trust him more than any other manager save Guus possibly.
If Klopp struggled he would be shown the door just like everyone else.

Agree0 Disagree1

Klopp not winning in Germany, currently 3rd...would that be good enough at chelsea? Oh yeah jose 3rd too...oh hang on a minute rafa is too! Players are the problem not the manager and rafa didn't by any of em...

Agree0 Disagree0

Jose mourinho is not the best manager i'm the world by stats or not, he is a short term manager never lasted more than 3 seasons at any club he's been at. Hopefully roman don't entertain his bs cus he wount last 3 seasons like last time. A manager that can't manage the best team in the world is not the best manager by any chance sorry

ED002 are the club even trying to bring anyone in this window? Can they not seewe have zero depth in the squad? {Ed002's Note - The club has targets, and there is every chance at least one will be arriving before the end of the transfer window.}

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Ed002 Do you think anyone other than Markovich will arrive this window?
Thanks
S.S. {Ed002's Note - Putting aside Markovic, the club are actively working on targets and there a chance at least one will arrive before the end of the month.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks Ed that's a relief as we need more experience in the squad rather than more young talent.

Agree0 Disagree0

Could you state what position the player likely to come in before end of month.. No names just position please
Matt
