My preferences on players needed:
Cavani would be my first choice as a striker,second choice would be falcao used in a swap deal for Torres.
LW:Hazard,this guy has bags of skill and quality similar to a young arjen robben.Second choice would be jordi alba from Valencia.
RW:first choice would be hulk,second choice di Maria.
RB:Van der Weil or Richards unless ivanovic is happy staying in this role.
CAM:first would be Modric,second Lucas moura.
CDM:Javi Martinez
If we could purchase 5 of the above players I think we would have a great chance of pushing on in the league and retaining champions league.

I dont rate modric whatsoever and he certainly isnt worth 40 million or whatever spurs want for him. Moura everytime.

I agree with Modric not being worth £40m but with them not being in champions league ,they may be willing to sell for £30m which I think he is worth in today's market.With regards to moura,I don't watch a lot of south American football so I can only go on what I have heard.

I don't see Modric as a consistent performer week in week out. He plays well for one game then doesn't do a whole lot for a while. Same as a lot of spurs players (Bale)

Well spurs wont get anywhere near that and they will proberlly sell him to real madrid instead of us, has for hazard playing on lw he would proberlly be put in CAm to play for chelsea.

if we are going to buy anyone from tottenham it really should be kyle walker especially if we sell ivanovic most of the defence would be english and would constantly be playing togther

Hi ed are chelsea interested in Llorente? i think along with Torres he would be brilliant {Ed002's Note - Fernando Llorente is interesting Spurs, PSG and Manchester City. Barcelona are considering their future options which may involve a move for the player.}

After watching the Europa League final, if you have to pick Llorente or Falcao, there is only one man! If you're spending that much money you might as well buy the best around! Everything about Falcao oozes class.

Most of it is seemed to corporate stuff according to Rob Beasley. But it must be something important to actually summon journos to attend. Doubt it is about Hazard though. Possible news about the naming rights to the stadium maybe.

Hey Ed, i was just wanting to know if you believe bertrand is a genuine replacement for cole. i know cole definately has more than a few years left but coming from someone with the knowledge would you say his potential is first team at chelsea cheers.
