Jackson, with respect, we are yet to see what Musonda, Boga et al could do in that role given a chance. Look at Moses this year, finally given a chance and proves to actually be pretty good.

I doubt Musonda and Boga will be given a chance, sadly. I'm just sick of seeing Willian in one of the forwards positions. He offers almost 0 threat to the opposition defense, it's unreal. He works very hard for the team, and he seems like a genuinely nice guy. But attacking wise he doesn't add enough to warrant a spot over Boga or Musonda.
What I would love to see is Pedro or Willian being moved on, while we bring in 1 top class attacker and bring back one of Boga or Musonda. Hazard and the new addition as starters, with Pedro/ Willian and Musonda/ Boga as rotation options. Pedro and Willian aren't good enough to start, but Musonda and Boga are probably still a little too young and raw to be trusted with a full time starting position.

Working but not producing anything doesn't help the team one bit, that's all Willian seems to do work hard.

I don't think that is a priority area for us. We have Pedro in fine form and Musunda back from his loan as well as Willian who has just come back into the fold after the sad death of his mother.

All the usual rumours about players in and out now starting. Oscar and possibly Mikel and Van Ginkle look likely to depart.

We have got a shocking insane amount of money for a player in Oscar which can only strengthen contes war chest should he decide we need to bring someone in .

The difficulty will of course be finding that someone - of real quality - at this time of year. Few Champions League teams still in competition would willingly let any such player go, and few players would probably want to unless on sidelines. Certainly not likes of Griezmann right now, though we should do all we can to sign him ahead of United if at all possible - and spend v big if needs be to do so. Likewise if Sanchez could be tempted. Otherwise we may lose our top players like Courtois and Hazard. But let's hope there are possibilities now - but who would could we realistically get that we would really want/ would really strengthen us? Back up for Costa (hope MB played and does well v Bournemouth. )? Defenders.?

I would like a left wing back as cover for Alonso and a ball playing, technically gifted, quick and strong centre half as cover for Luiz.

I would rather give Michy, Chalobah, Aina and Ivanovic (CB) more minutes than sign average players in January. Then in the summer assess players like Ake, Christensen and Baker who are out on loan and see if there's space for them in the squad. Then go all out after top class players such as Sanchez, Griezmann, Dybala for the right forward role and possibly go after another outstanding CM like Verratti who I really think is the best midfielder in world football next to Modric (who I've always wished we'd signed all those years ago) . Cover for Alonso and Moses would be great but again I don't think we need to buy for buying sake!

Good bit of business by the club.
When he first signed I really thought he was going to world class. But sadly he never kicked on. He still gave us some impressive displays but unfortunately it wasn't on a regular basis.
Good luck to him though, he comes across as a nice guy.
