Ed have chelsea been following the progress of any Napoli players of late? Especially Cavani and Maggio.I accept that italian clubs can be difficult do business with but surely we should be doing everything in our power to sign Cavani. {Ed018's Note - maybe Ed002 has a better answer, but Napoli is very hard to deal with and they will not be open to selling their star players}

ed super agent enzo bronzetti has claimed pep guardiola will be at chelsea after barca (tribal football)
do you think this could be possible {Ed018's Note - im gonna say no. why would we pay the money for AVB to manage chelsea to only turn around and bring in another manager. Ipersonally believe AVB is a good manager, its just time to bring in new talent}

Hi ed. In the past you said we were interested in Alan Dzagoev. Is this still thr case? Also are Arsenal also still scouting him? Thanks again.
Badger. {Ed002's Note - Dzagoev has interested Chelsea in the past but Arsenal have shown a lot of interest this year.}

Ed 002: I keep on reading in Chelsea related rss that Cahill is pretty much done deal in January. I doubt there are any "pretty much deals" for January, but do you expect us to bid for him in Jan?

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea have already held talks with Bolton about the player so I expect there is a reasonably good chance of a move.}

Rather subotic

ED. Any interest in Angel Di Maria at the time? During the last summer, it was said he was one of the players on AVB's shortlist.

Thanks
[90rdea] {Ed002's Note - It was left after the meeting in Los Angeles on July 16. The club were told he was not available, but Chelsea asked to be kept informed if the situation changes. As of yesterday afternoon I am told that it has not.}

Ed If higuian was to be brought in would he be seen as a player to play with Torres or to replace him? {Ed002's Note - Any bid for Higuain has no relationship to whatever happens with Torres in the future.}

Since Chelsea Football Club have known for a long time Alex would leave, is that the reason why we have been looking at CBs for a while now? {Ed002's Note - Yes but there are also a couple of very good kids for the future I am told - Nathaniel Chalobah and particularly Nathan Ake.}

Bruma seems to be doing quite well at Hamburg, do you know what is going to happend with him and Chelsea in the future? {Ed002's Note - He is not expected to return to Chelsea.}

Hi ed how much of a realistic chance do we have of getting higuian? Thanks {Ed002's Note - Chelsea do have a serious interest in the player and are willing to negotiate inducements which may include a player going the other way if it comes to that. The problem rests very much in whether or not Real Madrid would listen to offers, particularly in January, and whether or not they find another striker. In the unlikely event he moves in January the only likely destinations are Juventus and Chelsea. So only the most slim of chances I would say.}

Hey ed, what is the situation with Alex? We need him in defence but doesn't even make the squad! {Ed002's Note - Alex will leave either in January or in the summer.}

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Why is that? Does AVB not see him as part of the future? {Ed002's Note - It is nothing to do with AVB, it is to do with game time as Alex gets older. The decision to leave was made at the start of this year and he was close to leaving in the summer. There is a good chance he will leave in January if the right offer comes along else he will leave in the summer.}

Hi Eds ,I read your earlier answers about Giovinco, apparently his agent said that Chelsea are long-term admirers of his client ,so what about now ? is there still any interests in him ? is a transfer even possible ?
and if the answer is yes ,then how much Chelsea have to pay for him at minimum ? {Ed002's Note - Nothing has changed. There is no interest from Chelsea in Giovinco at this time.}
