Has anyone got any realistic ideas who we are interested in that the Eds haven't said Summer rather than January or the selling club arent interested or there are complications doing a deal?
I have lost track of any possible signings over the last few weeks.

Chelsea have shown interest to some sort of degree in all of the following, Falcao, Taison, Markovic, Benat, isco, gomis,, willian, paulinho, halilovic, (these are the names I rember the eds saying at some point or anthor)

there was also interest in remy and negrado if I rember right but remy is now at qpr and negredo will probably end up at spurs.

it now looks as though any deal for falcao won't be done until the summer if at all.

obvioulsy we brought wallace and ba the eds still expect anthor transfer before the end of the window.

and has for the manager it could be anyone including benitez I don't think anyone knows yet

The only one of those that seems possible is Markovich from what the Eds have said recently.
I wonder if certain targets have been deferred until the new manager is appointed given Demba impressive start at the club.

How do you kjnow anyone is good bad or indifferent unless you go and watch him a few times, this is called scouting I think chelsea scouted him to find he hasn't the quality required at stamford bridge. that is why you scouted him or do you think you should have bid for him because someone else was bidding for him without having a look first................ some people

Ed, bit of a curve-ball but could you shed any light on just what Emenalo's role is? There's a popular theory with Chelsea fans that should Jose return it would be on condition of "full control" and by implication the end of Emenalo. He seems a popular figure to have a snipe at as people don't know his background or what he's been responsible for at the club {Ed002's Note - He is the Director of Football or something similar in title. He provides a common point of responsibility for the footballing side of the business from the kiddie teams to the first team. He is also involved in player recruitment and actively scouts players there is interest in.}

Being hearing a lot about Markovic lately Ed, can the deal be completed this january Ed?
Dastanj {Ed002's Note - Lazar Markovic has previously attracted the attention of both Milan clubs, Juventus, Fiorentina, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Bayer Leverkusen and Espanyol. The player is keen to move to Chelsea and a move in January is possible, but no fee has yet been finalised with Partizan Belgrade. Michael Emenalo has been visiting Belgrade to watch him play and there were meetings between Chelsea and his agent immediately after Christmas. At a more recent meeting it was found that a new agent was representing Markovic - whilst it may ease the completion of a move to Chelsea I suspect the cost could well increase. Benfica has offered a part-ownership deal.}

Hi ed his there still interest in Benat from Betis or has that cooled off and also would just be happy with mourinho coming back in the summer no other signings just Jose he will make work what we've got many thanks {Ed002's Note - Atletico Madrid, CSKA, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Fenerbahce, Arsenal, PSG and Wolfsburg have shown interest in Benat. Ed, do Chelsea have any interest in Andriy Yarmolenko. {Ed002's Note - Yarmolenko has been linked in the recent past with Galatasaray, Napoli, Palermo and PSG but it is the sustained interest of AC Milan which will likely win out when he eventually moves.}

Good Day Ed,

Just wanted to ask if it is possible for Jose Mourinho to join Chelsea in the summer? I know summer is a long time from now but I just wanted to know if there are any problems between Mr.Roman Abramovich and Jose Mourinho that could prevent him from returning to Chelsea. As well as if you can tell me if you know anything about him wanting to go back to Chelsea.

Why do you all want jose back? He dosnt do long term jobs plus he will have to bench or sell our skilful players to buy his powerful less technical players, it wount be a fit for jose unfortunately hope roman don't entertain that bs

At real madrid the man plays alonso, ozil, ronaldo, di maria. these are incredibly skillful players. mourinho is not tony pulis

If the only player we signed before the end of the transfer window was Lazar Markovic then, to be honest I'd be very happy.

Cole has signed a new deal {Ed002's Note - Obviously two other deals have already been completed so he would not be the only player signed.}
