I'm not really sure if you've covered this point ed, if you have I apologise. Do Chelsea have or had any interest in de rossi, as I belive he would suite are team perfectly
thanks {Ed002's Note - I would doubt that Di Rossi will be moving anywhere in January - if he does, perhaps Manchester City would be interested.}

ED why have the club let Sturridge leave without a replacement being signed what if we do not get the target we want in Jan will we go in the rest of the season with 1 striker or should i say half a striker? {Ed002's Note - Everything will be fine.}

Believable2 Unbelievable3

Spill beams ed give us a little Xmas hope ?? Falcao, cavani, Shurrle, bony, Martinez,, we will not hold u to what u say as we all know things can change {Ed002's Note - Should be all of them, yep.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha oh right cheers mate, shall I keep naming them with one player missing to narrow it down..? Well I just hope that if Sturridge does leave that we have a replacement ready to come in and sign straight away,

Agree0 Disagree0

Sturridges replacement is falcao. Bookies odds on him moving to us are almost non existent. When are they wrong. Spready.

ED002 reports suggest Liverpool have all but tied up the loose ends of the Sturridge deal and that they could confirm it withing the next 48 hours is this correct? {Ed002's Note - This is from Twitter seemingly and I have no idea when his medical will take place but the open issues did not just involve Liverpool. Regardless I expect the transfer to go through.}

Believable9 Unbelievable0

To be fair, you don't have to be an avid Twitter addict to read that the transfer is a certainty. I'm not saying it is, just that every publication is carrying the story.
I know that Ed002 is being coy, but I can't imagine that with our shortage of strikers, we would let Sturridge go without a replacement or two already in the bag. Who that might be is the interesting bit! {Ed002's Note - The comment about Twitter was in respect of teh medical. There is no question that the transfer will go through unless something very unexpected happens.}

Any truth to Man City opening talks with Corinthians on Paulinho? {Ed002's Note - I don't know of talks but there has been speculation of interest for a few weeks.}

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Who cares? The fella looked cack in the Wcc.

Agree0 Disagree0

So you're judging a player over a couple of games following the end of a domestic season?! Paulinho has played really well for both Corinthians and Brazil over the past few months...

Agree0 Disagree0

So did we. So we never should have bought everyone who played in Yokohama?

Agree0 Disagree0

Gents we need someone who can control a game. Alonso, Modric or Moutinho type not a box to box midfielder.

Eds, the Times is reporting that there is reluctance from the club to spend in the first post apocalyptic transfer window in Jan - I'm assuming this is spurious journalism and its the same old if targets are available jobbie, yeh? {Ed002's Note - I have no idea what the times has had to say but Benitez has been made aware that he is simply one input to the process on deciding players who might be sought.}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Ed002 The major claim of the article is that, Emenalo is suggesting that we have the answer on loan in Lakaku/De Bruyne & Mc Chechran and that we dont need a major signing in Jan.
Are you aware if that is true and if so would that impact on the signing of a couple of strikers that you have mentioned?
Thanks
S.S. {Ed002's Note - If ME has said there will be no signings in January I rather suspect there has been a misunderstanding somewhere down the line. I have no interest in my views being played off against his.}

Agree0 Disagree0

We need a top class striker now!we need a goalscorer to make sure we will be in next year's champions league otherwise forget it!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed 002 I was careful to say the Times 'claimed' and was merely asking if something had changed from your knowledge.
It was not my intention to play your comments off against anyone and I am surprised that you would construe my question in that way frankly.
S.S. {Ed002's Note - People do it all of the time. Apologies if I hurt your feelings.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Cheers Ed 002 . S.S.
