Ed will Chelsea play in the F.A cup this season as they are in the super cup.

Reason being I remember you saying a while back
that MU didn't enter the fa cup when they were

FYI - Man Utd were punished by the FA for pulling out of the FA Cup....

It's the club world cup that made man u pull out. Not the super cup.

Yes Jono you know mate and Torres Gets the Golden boot Confidence will be high and this season he should have a good supply via the likes of marin hazzard ramires and mate and if we are lucky modric and hulk bring on next season.

Ed. What you say re FL is interesting.In truth sometimes we nead to let our head rule our hearts i such matters. The simple fact is that FL and JT are very fast approaching the stage where they are not able to perform at the very highest level game in and game out.
The rumour is now emerging that PSG are showing an interest in JT and a figure of £10 million is being mentioned.If such an offer had been made and if JT played for either Arsenal on Man U their respective managers wouldnt hesitate in moving the players on.
So I guess my question is do you detect that there are any views coming out of the club that in addittion to FLs possible move to The MSL that JT may be crossing The Channel? {Ed002's Note - If an approach is made for either the player will be told. Chelsea would not stand in their way.}

I can't see JT leaving, he'll always be a blue until he retires here. Hopefully Frank can have a Scholes like impact later on in his career for us. He's still got a great engine and can offer a lot to the club and the development of our youth

John Terry has said on numrous occasions: If Chelsea don't want him anymore, he will immidiatley retire.

Ed, I get the impression that Chelsea has a policy of never keeping a player against his will. If a player wants out and a suitable offer arrives, we won't force the issue by holding him to his contract. (By contrast, clubs like Porto, Spurs, and Man United seem fairly obdurate about keeping their best players.) Are we uniquely lax about wantaway players, or do other clubs have a similar policy? {Ed002's Note - Many clubs take a similar approach - the key for many might be what is "acceptable" in terms of an offer.}

Intersting times at CFC.FFP rules mean the club have to apply a different mentality now to such situatuions.
Alas JT love him as we all do, or hate him just about as everyone else does will be high risk to the Chelsea brand .
Even if he were to be appointed as a manager and in truth he has a lot of work to do to gain coaching badges and some experience before he would even be considered for the top job at Chelsea
As fot Jt retireing at this point in time well I very very much doubt that would happen and in truth a move accroos the water would present him a challenge that might just prove attractive and lets face it London to Paris really isnt the most difficult of journey or indeed lifestyle problems

Ed Is there ny truth in the Frank & LA Galaxy rumours?
I seem to remember you hinted he maybe going to the US, sometime after January next year.
Is that still the case ? {Ed002's Note - Yes he could well go.}

Have they made an approach for him then ED? {Ed002's Note - It has been under discussion for a while as I previously explained.}

I think he will stay this season and try and get the all time scoring record but this will be his last season at the club

Sad as it will be too lose drogba one year then lampard the same year or possibly the next but its getting too that point where cole and terry will go in a few years only older player staying will be cech (if his form stays consistent into his late 30s)
