Congratulations to you lot! Fortune favors the Brave!

From a Reds fan.

Believable6 Unbelievable4

Ummmmm...did you actually watch the match?? At what point and time were Chelsea brave?? They parked the bus the whole night and won based purely on the incompetence of Robben, Ribery and Gomez.

Also from a Reds fan.

Congratulations Chelsea! Well deserved, you may have gone out to defend but you did it brilliantly.

I've backed you since United went out of the UCL but it's great to see the trophy back in England and as I said it was well deserved.

Enjoy your weekend guys!

An honst opinion? I cant see Chelsea overcoming the loss of Ramires, Ivanovich & Terry. If these 3 were available then Chelsea would be in with a massive shout. I appreciate Munich are missing a few but Chelsea's are more important and influential, but you never know, stranger things have happened (Barca for instance). Good luck! Chelsea to win 2-1 at 14/1 might be worth a punt?

Ed which clubs are interested in taking De bruyne on loan {Ed002's Note - As of May 8 when I last checked enquiries had been made by Atletico Madrid, Hoffenheim, Sporting Lisbon, Lille, Benfica, Wolfsburg, Hamburg, FC Twente and Fiorentina have enquired after taking Kevin de Bruyne on loan.}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Hi ed you say fiorentina any chance kdb could be part of jovetic deal
jambo {Ed002's Note - No more than a deal for Hazard, Gaitan, Falcao, etc.. I would not bother thinking about it.}

ED002 is it true Hazard's agent has been speaking with Chelsea today? {Ed002's Note - Not today, no.}

Believable1 Unbelievable2

Have they spoken to chelsea recently then ED? {Ed002's Note - There is nothing new with respect to Hazard. There are people within Chelsea who would take him tomorrow. There is one who has a lating concern over his attitude and his constant talking to the press. There was a suggestion from Hazard's agent that perhaps the two could meet with the agreement of Lille but that has not happened. Lille are prepared to talk money with clubs now - that is really the only change that has happened.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Have they spoken already or will they in the future?
Trout {Ed002's Note - There were plenty of previous discussions.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Do you know where his preference is ED? and if we do fail to make to Champions League whether this would hinder a move? {Ed002's Note - His preference is Barcelona, Real Madrid, Paris St Germain, Arsenal, Spurs, Juventus, Manchester City, Manchester United, Peterborough, Chelsea, Liverpool or Roma - depending on who he is talking to.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Where do you think he will end up ED? {Ed002's Note - I cannot be sure at this time.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I live near Peterborough would be a great asset to PUFC. Him and Kearns would decimate the wings :D

Robben I think will be contained tonight thanks to cole, if they do score it will come from the wing directly/indirectly from ribery, due to the defensive capabilities of bosingwa. Despite this, I'm really looking forward to drogba terrorizing the 6ft giant tymoschuck, he's an out of place defensive mid, playing in a makeshift defense, that proved not to work under the former manager. Contento will also get some grief having only played about a handful of games this year, maybe mata or Torres could skip past this guy on the wing. I must admit, when Robbie played such a variety of players, week in, week out, I was not always for it. However it means that Chelsea have players ready with gametime, and maybe we might get a surprise in an unlikely figure. The real message I want to get across is, come one you blues! Bring back the glory to where it should have been for some time, your fans are eagerly awaiting...

Ed, rumours coming out of France that Chelsea may be in pole position for Hazard, have you heard anything?

PR! {Ed002's Note - Pole postion? No, I have heard nothing like that.}

Believable0 Unbelievable2

That's cool Ed, I was just checking, as you have said previously, City you like the likely destination.

PR! {Ed002's Note - Manchester City is a possible situation.}

Eds do you guys have any idea how long after we win the CL tonight(we will) will things unfold ,announcement on management and playing staff?do you expect us to hold out til after the euros(i don't think we should)? Danny {Ed002's Note - I don't know exactly but there will be some discussions after everything has settled - the Euros certainly don't come in to it at all.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

19 May 2012 10:48:24
Hey ed, just wondered what you thought Chelsea's starting team will be against Bayern tonight? If Kalou and Malouda start they need to have the games of their lives helping out Bosingwa and Cole against Ribery and Robben. If we can keep those two quiet i think we have a great chance. comeon the blues! {Ed002's Note - Malouda is most unlikely to start. There is a suggestion Bertrand may start in addition to Cole.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Bertrand is set to start at LM instead of Studge or Malouda, provide cover for Ash against Lahm

Torres and Drogba have to start today.Their defense is weak at best and even more so with their players suspended.It is impossible to contain Swienstieger , so we have have to make him play in a deeper position while containing the runs of their three attackers.If we are alert and do not make any mistakes we can beat them .The most important players will be our fullbacks.As long as they play well and hold their nerves we will win.
roan

Believable6 Unbelievable1

It'd be a risky and stupid move to start them both. We will start cautiously as we always do in the CL - I'd be surprised if either team scored in the opening 30 mins, then we'll bring on Torres in the second half and possibly Sturridge too if we're trailing, to add some impact and pace to the attack in the latter stages of the game

Hi Ed,

Do Chelsea have any interest in Javi Martinez? He's one hell of a player and would suit Chelsea perfectly. {Ed002's Note - Not right now. Manchester City are probably looking to replace Nigel De Jong in the summer and Javi Garcia and Javi Martinez were the two players they are looking at. I was told a while back that Inter Milan may make a bid for Javi if they decide not to take Juraj Kucka from co-owners Genoa. I am not convinced that Bilboa will want to sell the player any time soon, and if they do they will want 40M euro with Barcelona and Real Madrid being possible destinations. Garcia has signed a new deal at Benfica so I imagine Martinez will become a serious target for Manchester City who may also face interest from Manchester United.}

Hi edd are the likes of kalou and bosingwa to be offered new deals at the end of the season as they are set to exspire are they not? {Ed002's Note - Nothing is decided right now regarding Kalou but he wants regular first team football and I am not sure he will get that at Chelsea. Bosingwa will likely move to Italy.}

Morning guys...
Today is one of the biggest nights in Cfc history. Bloody hell, I'm nervous.

Anyway, does anyone know if McEachran and Lukaku will be involved tonight? (Since Kane and Chalobah have also been called up)
Ed, do you know?

Thanks and CAREFREE {Ed002's Note - Lukaku no.}

How much money would we lose ED if we fail to win tomorow and do not qualify for the champions league. {Ed002's Note - Chelsea will earn between £45M and £50M from Champions League prize money including the television pot this season. A similar performance in teh EUROPA league will give about £10M to £12M.}
