Is it likely the markovic deal will be done before the summer? {Ed002's Note - I would not want to commit to "likely" but there is a chance a move will be agreed.}

Hi Ed
A while ago when talking about summer targets which the people CFC had identified you also stated that we know the people who will be leaving I think we have a fair idea of those people most out of contract my question is Are there any people under contract who are established first team squad players that could leave rather than fringe players and players out of contract other than Torres {Ed002's Note - Leaving Chelsea this summer will be Bruma, Malouda, Benayoun, Torres, Hilario, Ferreira probably Essien, Lampard & Turnbull, and possibly Ba, & Kakuta.}

Believable4 Unbelievable5

Could you say why the club would consider selling Ba, knee's not sustainable for a full season or in the Torres mould of if an acceptable bid was made he would be allowed to leave

PB1989 {Ed002's Note - I don't want to get dragged in to "why" issues.}

Agree0 Disagree0

What is the situation with Ba then Ed002? {Ed002's Note - There is no "situation".}

Agree0 Disagree0

What would Torres' likely destination be Ed002 apart from Atletico Madrid? {Ed002's Note - I cannot sensibly anser "likely" questions.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed, you put Torres in the leaving group rather than probable and possible. Do you know who else holds an interest in the player other than Athletico Madrid?

Cheers {Ed002's Note - It is too early to say where he will end up right now but he will have at least one more option.}

Agree0 Disagree0

probably getting a little tedious to answer the same general question over and over (for a change) but do Anzhi still hold an interest in the player?

Cheers {Ed002's Note - Torres won't be going to Anzhi.}

Ed02: any legs in the info that Markovic rights are owned by Pini Zahavi's company? Or is he just represented by him as his new agent? {Ed002's Note - It is true that he holds around 70% of his economic rights.}

Believable0 Unbelievable2

ED002 which agents do chelsea have the best relationship with? Jorge Mendes Pini Zahavi Kia Joorabchian? {Ed002's Note - I don't know what you mean by "best".}

Chelsea have got a great future Courtois, De Bruyne, Lukaku, Piazon, Chalobah, Ake and Feruz will all be stars. They are all getting valuable experience.

Believable16 Unbelievable5

Don't get over excited mate - remember the likes of Kakuta, Stoch, Mancienne?

How is Ake getting valuable experience? {Ed002's Note - Ake is only 17, give him a chance.}

Agree0 Disagree0

2 FA youth cups in the last 3 years. Just gone into the quarter finals of the next gen beating Barcelona u19 2-0 I'd say that's worth getting excited about.

Hey Ed with march just over a week away I was wondering if you had herd anymore regarding Isco did malaga manage to service there debt or is a deal still trying to be struck?

BlueBen
thanks {Ed002's Note - Nothing will have changed.}

Believable2 Unbelievable9

Actually don't see the point in signing Isco why don't people understand we need a world class striker and a holding midfielder.

It's persons like you that wind me up

Agree0 Disagree0

CfcBen what are you moaning about? BlueBen was asking a very specific question about a player who Chelsea have shown interest in. How does that mean he doesn't see that we need a striker and a DM?

IB.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ill tell you why because as I stated Isco is not a player we need we have plenty of attacking midfielders unless you are stupid enough to not see that.

Isco isn't a like for like replacement for Lampard and neither is Fellaini for that matter.

In the whole of Europe the only player I see as a like for like replacement of Lampard is Toni Kroos and let's be honest there's more chance of Oscar Pistorkus competing at the next Olympics than him coming the bridge

CfcbenWxm

Agree0 Disagree0

CfcBen stop cryin we have got David Luiz who looks like he could become world class in that position. There won't be another Frank Lampard Fact and Franks hardly a DM.

IB.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wow you knowledge of our team is weak at best Oscar is not an attacking midfielder in time he will play the holding role has he does for brazil. This will free up a space in the attacking midfield and Isco is one of the brightest European talents there is, Moses was bought to play the same sort of role that kalou did he won't always be a starting 11 player.

Toni Kroos, lol he is nothing like lamps closet player I've seen to lamps is hamsik but to be fair the club don't need a like for like replacement were trying to implement a new style of play and players like Isco fit more into that style then Frank.

Although you are correct about the striker situation but the club clearly has concrete plans in terms of targets so I don't think we need to worry there.

BlueBen.

Agree0 Disagree0

De Bruyne should come in and replace Marin in the squad!

Agree1 Disagree0

Your knowledge of football is weak you think Brazil's no. 10 is a "holding role. "

Agree0 Disagree1

He plays a deeper role for brazil then he does for chelsea {

Agree0 Disagree0

Brazil plays at least two midfielders behind Oscar, as has typically been the case in their World Cup preparations. Sandro, Paulinho, Ramires, Romulo, Dante, Ralf have all played as part of the deep two at one point or another, while Oscar plays a free role as a no. 10. He drops deep on occasion to link up play but he does this AS A NUMBER 10 - that's a function of his free role. It doesn't mean he's in a "holding role. " Has he played deeper at times? Sure, for Internacional. But his natural role in the national team is as a number 10.

Hi ed are chelsea looking at munain? {Ed002's Note - Muniain was touted around the clubs on behalf of Bilbao in January 2012 - and the two clubs in England that were approached were Chelsea and Manchester United. The asking price was 40M euros which is related to the buy-out clause that exists for Iberian clubs. They won't get it because I don't think clubs would risk half of that on a player who is young and has had some off field issues. If the price comes down to a reasonable level (20M euros might be an acceptable figure) I can see interest from several English clubs including Manchester United. Lyon, Bayern Munich, Napoli and Roma have sustained interest which is still there but I could not see a cash deal involving Lyon as possible at this time. Rumours abound of Juventus and Palermo interest. It was thought an eventual move to Barcelona would happen, although his performances this season have not been good at all and his temper has gotten the better of him again on more than one occasion.}

Who has shown an interest in Ukranian stars Konoplyanka and Yarmalenko?

Believable1 Unbelievable1

I remember Ed002 saying Chelsea, aswell as a number of prem clubs have taken a look at Konoplyanka in the past. I'm sure if you use the search function you'll find some info. {Ed002's Note - Konoplyanka has been watched by several EPL clubs including Chelsea, Fulham, Arsenal and Manchester United but I doubt he would move to sit on the bench which would probably influence his decision. There is also continued interest from Napoli, Roma and Galatasaray in the summer offered Riera, Baros and cash for the player but were told by Dnipro it would take 50M euros for a transfer to go ahead.}
