Hey Ed, just read a few articles today claiming that Chelsea are interested in signing Edin Dzeko from Wolfsburg and Carlos Tevez from City for a massive 70m pounds to create a dream "strike force." Any truth to these rumours?

Ed, isn't Tevez more likely to arrive at Chelsea than Dzeko. City would never sell to Chelsea and especially if Chelsea are tracking their top target Dzeko. But I think in this case City may have to make an exception of Tevez wants to join us.

{Editor's Note: Chelsea had a bid turned down for Dzeko in the summer and it was made clear then that he was nailed on for Juventus. Since then Arsenal and Manchester City have made it known they would be interested in the player. I very much doubt Chelsea would want to get in to any sort of bidding war and I am sure the club have no interest in Tevez at this time. Chelsea maintain an interest in Pastore - who they were offered in November at an outrageous price but would never pay. They have also on-going interest in Brazil, and are still trying to resolve Kakuta's contract situation whilst it looks like Borini may go in January rather than the summer.}

Carlo has apparently come up with a Xmas wishlist to sign a trio of super stars which are Newcastle's Andy Carroll, Bayern Munich's Bastian Schweinsteiger who just signed a new deal and Inter's midfield maestro Wesley Sneijder. Any truth in this Ed?
{Editor's note - It is very rare for three players to be bought in the January window for that amount of money}

I would count out Schweinsteiger and Carroll although Sneijder would be decent pick up considering he's ideally the type of midfielder our faltering midfield needs. Great maestro and play maker but a summer move is more likely. Your thoughts Ed?
