Hi eds what's the latest on Pedro are we out the race now other sides are making bids or do we still stand a chance of making the signing?

I think everything was bound to speed up after the elections at Barca. Things will probably become clearer this week as Ed said.

If he returns to Boro I'll be terribly disappointed. Palace is a very interesting option IMO. They have quite a good team and Pardew is a good manager. They'd be my pick (unless of course they buy some bigger name striker).

Id love to see him at Palace! Bolasie, Cabaye, Zaha etc supplying him would be great. Mourinho seems to get on well with Pardew so hopefully itll happen.

I personally don't think we need another striker if Traore's in the squad because he could be emergency 3rd choice.

Agree that we don't need another especially with it sounding like solanke will be with the youth rather than on loan. I just hope wherever he goes, he gets plenty of playing time. He had a really good year but I don't want him to have what happened to chalobah following his really positive spell at watford.
