Now that inter Milan have signed fredy guarin on a permanent deal from his loan with them, do you think that this might weaken their interest in moura?

Devon. {Ed002's Note - We will know early to mid June.}

When will you further give us more detail about the mangerial issue at Chelsea ED? {Ed002's Note - Before Christmas, I promise.}

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Just make sure it's not Capello then ED!

Are you going to Champions league final ED02? {Ed002's Note - Sadly not as I have commitments today here in England that make it impossible.}

Am I the only one who thinks that playing at the Allianz is no great advantage ! At the end of the day we have the same amount of fans and a pitch is a pitch is a pitch , if you get my drift !

What do you think PB,PR!,jono,SHED END, Melbourne , Mattcfc,13,JG

Just routines and knowing your way around for Bayern should help them plus your not going to get those 1st moment jitters of seeing the stadium and crowd erupt. Having said that im hoping Bayern playing at home will relax them to much and they will be flat for the 1st 20 mins, very wishful thinking i no.

PB

Agree0 Disagree0

I think that Bayern will have a slight advantage for the first 5m, on the basis of that they're familiar to the stadium. As soon as chelsea get over the initial nerves, they'll be fine. The reason i say slight is because you saw liverpool and chelsea at the fa cup final and even though they have played several times there, they still were nervous.
Bring on Bayern.

Hey lads new to the site but thought id chuck an opinion out there i think if we can keep ribery and robben quiet then we should win regardless of where the game is cahill and luiz look has though there going to be fit and allthough we have players out our squad is much stronger then bayerns and there missing there best cb and there cdm so hopefully chels go attack put them on the back foot and deal with the supply from the wings into gomez i reckon 3-1 chels cmon Boys

Hey Ed which teams are interested in Junior Hoillet and where is he more likely to end up at ?

Great job, cheers
J. {Ed002's Note - Spurs, Sunderland, Newcastle, Stoke, Arsenal and possibly Aston Villa and QPR have been interested - plus a couple of clubs from Germany, including Bayern Munich, and Marseille from France. I understand that Roma have dropped their interest after an offer of a pre-contract agreemnent was spurned. The English sides were at a disadvantage in the chase for Hoilett now as he is in to the last six months of his contract and he can talk to interested parties from outside of England but as time moves on that is becoming less of an issue. Blackburn will offer him a new deal but I doubt he will be interested, in the same way as a move to Bolton, Aston Villa or Stoke is unlikely. If pushed, I would say North London or foreign shores are the most likely destinations - and I do expect him to leave this summer.}

Much appreciated, thx for the insight

Cannot see roberto getting the full time managers job.If he was first choice he surely would of been offered it already.Guardiola definitely taking a year out.I can see us giving Capello the job even though I would love to see the return of mourinho.

Believable3 Unbelievable4

Ron Gourlay said when AVB went that there would be no announcement until the season had finished. He re-iterated this message in the last week....this wold be the case whether Di Matteo got the job or not.

Agree0 Disagree0

Iope the hell you're wrong about Capella tHought his next job would be on spitting image

ED02 did Chelsea not put a severance in AVB's contract like they did with Ancelotti that he could not manage another PL team for a certain period?

CFC1905 {Ed002's Note - I don't know the terms of his deal but I cannot see it being relevant. The Ancelotti deal was traded for money.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Do you think he is a candidate for the liverpool job ED? {Ed002's Note - I very much dout it - I have explained his intentions about other vacancies but if he were offered the chance of an interview he may take it up.}

Ed, Heard from a friend that Man City have enquired to Parma about Giovinco. You heard anything?

Scruffy {Ed002's Note - D’Amico talks a good story and interest in Giovinco from Chelsea and other clubs is being overplayed, but if he is made available by joint owners Juventus and Parma that may change. Wolfsburg and Roma have certainly shown some interest and Napoli have been impressed by his recent performances.}

I suspect a season long loan.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Cheers i hope it is one within the premierleague as thats where he needs to grow. i reckon one day he will be a super just like our favoured didier!

Hi ED.

Just a question here, is there any chance chelsea would bid for van persie?
If I remember we were interested 3-4 years ago.
And now his wife says she doesnt want to leave london.
And do you think he would be a good addition to the club?
Cheers. {Ed002's Note - No.}

So ED002 Gazetta de la sport and a lor of reports in italy are saying that Capello has agreed to take over at Chelsea after the Champions league final is this true ? {Ed002's Note - Why don't we just get through the weekend first?}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I bloody hope not what a poor poor appointment that would be.

Agree0 Disagree0

So i am guessing is it true then ED if it was not you would have ruled it out?

Agree0 Disagree0

I also hope not -- writing from Cape Town as I am, I have seldom seen a less inspired team than England under Capello's management in World Cup 2010.

Roberto di Matteo is likely to be Chelsea manager next season. If Abramovich wants a bigger name, then Lazzio are ready to offer him the job.

(source: Daily Mail)

Believable2 Unbelievable3

I really don't think he has the ability to win us a league title. And before you are jump on my back, I love Roberto mainly because of how much he evidently loves the club.

He has done a terrific job since taking over but tactically he cannot be good enough for the job yet. He has made some very questionable team selections which have almost all worked out fortunately. Although he has been able to manage the team superbly I think our schedule over the past 2 months has helped with rotation due to games every 2-4 days. This has certainly helped boost moral of fringe players: kalou, malouda, bos, mikel. All should be sold.

Its no surprise who I want as manager, and still think he will come. He won the La Liga and so has accomplished his goal of 3 titles in 3 different top European leagues. My no.2 for the job would be Joachim Low for sure. He has done terrifically with Germany and has shown a desire to play attacking football. He also loves developing youth.

Whatever happens I will either support RDM or thank him for bringing back the Chelsea spirit. 3-1 down Napoli win. 2-0 down Barcelona 10 men draw (win tie). Aston Villa 0-2, 2-2, 2-4 (fernando).

In Chelsea I Trust

Ed been hearing things bout sunderland weighing up a bid for bertrand, do u think we would sell him?
Great prospect for the future

Carefree {Ed002's Note - I doubt it.}

Believable1 Unbelievable3

I honestly think he is excellent. Be a shame to ditch him.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree Chelsea should not sell bertrand. Definitely one for the future.
