If Kaka were to be made available on a free transfer would Chelsea be interested in signing him?

Also, can you see us signing any other players before the end of this transfer window? {Ed002's Note - I doubt Kaka's destination has chjanged. I doubt the transfers have ended.}

Hi Ed,

Are Chelsea currently in discussions with any clubs over players at all?

Many Thanks for all you for this page. {Ed002's Note - Sure. But the abuse means that the days are gone where I will list players who there is interest in.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

That's a shame.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed is far more gregarious on the Liverpool page and typically curt here. He seemingly (1) dislikes us; (2) knows more about Liverpool business than Chelsea business; (3) has little interest a less-trafficked corner of the rumours web-empire. Hence questioning him here is like squeezing blood from stone. You'll get far more joy on the Liverpool page. :) {Ed002's Note - With vegetables like you posting we are getting nearer the door in bothering with the Chelsea page at all.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Please ed, and why don't you just refuse to put their posts up? It would be great if you can...

PR! {Ed002's Note - We do but we still need to read the crap.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats understandable Ed. Thanks for answering though, it's good to know that there is stuff going on behind the scenes.

Agree1 Disagree0

I understand ED, you get mugs everywhere, cheers anyway! But if there's any updates then...;)

PR!

Agree0 Disagree0

Hey Ed we all appreciate what you do! I am a chelsea Die hard for ages now and there is no one I have seen that fits the bill like you! its a shame that people don't listen and take in all your info, if they did so many stupid, assinine questions wouldn't be asked a million times, and the real beleivers would be lucky enough to get your great insite. again thanks for all ypur support!

Agree0 Disagree0

If you look at most of the other club pages, there is more of a community feel as people post questions and others give their opinions. Not all questions are directed toward the Eds... The CFC page is just filled with repetitive questions that are directed toward the Eds making our page 100% dependent on the Eds and I don't blame Ed002 for getting annoyed because he's the only one who actually has a source inside the club and he has to sift through all the questions.

Hi Ed002, I keep reading people commenting on how they want Jose Mourinho back and how when He was in charge He had a free reign over player aquisitions and how if He returns with the same influence Chelsea will be super succesful again etc... Can if possible You please shed some light on how much of a say He had in player sales and signings and if that level of input is still afforded to Managers since his time at chelsea? Many thanks. {Ed002's Note - It is complicated and things have changed in terms of personnel since then. Remind me over the weekend and I will explain if I have time.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

I assume one of the people Mourinho clashed/had issues with was Frank Arnesen? {Ed002's Note - Why assume that?}

Agree0 Disagree0

A very interesting question. One in which I'm looking forward to seeing the answer. Thanks in advance ed.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi Ed,

Sorry, my assumption was based on reading some articles/stories (delete as appropriate!) regarding a less than smooth working relationship between them both.

Steve {Ed002's Note - You said "clashed" which is rather different. I imagined, lances, armour, shields and horses.}

Hi ed was wondering if you no if mr abramovich and mr mourinho have sorted there issues out with each other from the past, if there was any, if you read, the media made out there were! {Ed002's Note - There are no issues, they get on very well.}

So there's a chance he could come back and grace the premiership with Chelsea then ed thanks {Ed002's Note - Of course.}

Didn't romoan buy Jose a limited edition vintage Ferrari or summit as a leaving prezzie ?

Are we close to agreeing deals for any new players Ed002? No need to mention who. Cheers in advance. DJ {Ed002's Note - "Close" is an entirely subjective term. I am not going to get drawn in to such speculation.}

hi ed would you expect us to try at least to get jose mourinho back or do you see another manager in line now that pep has been taken from the equation thanks in advance {Ed002's Note - Chelsea has a manager - perhaps it will become a point of discussion at the end of May.}

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Ed, are you Ron Gourlay in disguise? {Ed002's Note - I am not in disguise.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Jose going to milan

Agree0 Disagree1

Chelsea have an "interim manager" and so I think it's entirely appropriate to discuss who might become permanent manager - even if it's likely to be Benitez. {Ed002's Note - Feel free.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Jose is unlikely to manage Milan.

Jose hates Italy, Italy hate him! He won't go Milan, will he ed? DJ {Ed002's Note - I think it unlikely.}

Agree1 Disagree0

I can't imagine Jose going back to Italy; he stated many time that he didn't enjoy his time there.

I think it will only be England or PSG. I can't think of a team outside of that criterion that would want him and that appeal to him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bring back Jose! Let him buy his own players and we'll be champions again!

Agree1 Disagree0

The italian media slated him. There aren't any other clubs in Spain which can match his ambition. Germany, I think, are out due to Guardiola taking control of Bayern, the only other team that might be of interest is Dortmund and I don't see them firing/letting Klopp leave. That leaves Psg and England. Out of the clubs in England, the ones of interest would be; Arsenal, Chelsea, City and Utd. I don't see Ferguson retiring at the end of the season and unless Arsene leaves for Psg, I'd rule out Arsenal. That leaves Chelsea and City. Out of Chelsea, City and Psg, I'd say that Psg are favourites with City 2nd and Chelsea 3rd.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think Jose will want to work under the Ex Barca staff at City tbh. So it is either Chelsea or Psg, unless Klopp is not at Dortmund come the summer, which I doubt will be the case.

Love how the media reckon the snub from Guardiola is bad for us, fact is most Chelsea fans didn't want him in the first place, he isnt proven and has not had a challenge in his career to date. So he goes and picks Bayern who dominate the Bundesliga with the main competiton coming from Dortmund. £26mil 3 year contract lol you can have him Bayern, best news I had yesterday. Scott M.

Believable20 Unbelievable12

Seems to me he took the 'easy' option...another dominant team in their respective league, doesn't really need to do much there does he?

Agree0 Disagree0

Exactly, the Man Utd fans make me laugh with the amount of crap they spout, they reckon we are sulking about this. There is no Chelsea fan I know who wanted him at the club, even a few close mates which are Liverpool fans have said he is over-rated and it would end in a bad way for us. Bayern are the dominate force in Germany even if the don't win the title year in and out. The have a great youth team set up and are always full of International players, mostly home grown. Funny how the papers were only 2 days ago going on about a battle between Jose and Pep in the Prem next year, now they say its egg on our face, what a useless bunch of muppets. Scott M.

Just read that as part of the piazon loan deal we get first option on isco, is it true ed? Danny {Ed002's Note - I am not aware of the terms of the contract but Chelsea's interest in Isco has been dealt with. Malaga had been one of the clubs that asked about Piazon as long ago as the summer. The interest in Isco is reasonably recent and the result of a suggestion from a "friend" of the club in Spain.}

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Oh ok, cheers! Do you expect him to join up come the summer? Danny {Ed002's Note - Try the search function please.}

ED, what do you think of the Dortmund manager? {Ed002's Note - I have no thoughts about him. I might be weird, but I am not that weird.}

Believable3 Unbelievable1

So you don't think about him wearing no pants whilst eating a bowl of frosties?

Anything new on markovic? Will he be moving this window ed? Danny {Ed002's Note - Lazar Markovic has attracted the attention of Milan, Fiorentina, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Bayer Leverkusen and Espanyol. The player is keen to move to Chelsea and a move in January is possible, but no fee has yet been finalised with Partizan Belgrade. Michael Emenalo has been visiting Belgrade to watch him play and there were meetings between Chelsea and his agent immediately after Christmas. At a more recent meeting it was found that a new agent was representing Markovic - whilst it may ease the completion of a move to Chelsea I suspect the cost could well increase.}

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Sounds good, he's very talented. Cheers

Agree0 Disagree0

Do you think he will eventually move to Chelsea ed?
Dastanj {Ed002's Note - Yes, I think he will.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Isn't he currently injured? {Ed002's Note - He is fine as far as I know - they are on a winter break for the past month.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Will he be ready for the first team or a 'one for the future' type signing more likely to go out on loan?

Agree0 Disagree0

Lazar Markovic is CFC fan but he will not move for now, because CFC want's to loan him like DeBruyne. So, at the moment it is not realistic.
