{Ed002's Note - Yanga-Mbiwa is again being watched tonight.}
Is he a versatile player ed ? is he able to slot in the defensive two in midfield? {Ed002's Note - He is a defender and in addition to Chelsea, there are representatives from at least Lille, QPR, Zenit, Newcastle, Inter, Chievo and Arsenal to watch the game tonight. OBviously there are those watching M'Vila and those not.}
Cheers ed!

Do you expect us to make a move ed? {Ed002's Note - I am not sure.}
Thanks for that Ed.
Do you think that might mark a change of position for Luiz perhaps to midfield?
S.S. {Ed002's Note - I never consider such things, sorry. I have no interest in formations.}
Great player, would love to see him at the club!

Hi ed I was just wondering when was the last time a Chelsea representative was in Madrid to discuss a move for falcao? Do you think it will happen in this window? Thanks in advance {Ed002's Note - I have zero interest in getting in to such discussions about people's schedules. It is pointless.}

Would love to see HIDDINK bk amazing record with his time at the bridge if Jose goes to city with rafa to Madrid....klopp one to watch
He's retiring at the end of the season unfortunately :(
Vincent
Why would Klopp leave the legacy he is building at Dortmund? They are title contenders, have an amazing youth system, have one of the highest attendance averages in Europe (over 77,000) and are serious Champions league contenders, also with the emergance of the Bundesliga and with a new great rival in Guardiola, Klopp will not be going anywhere.
16 Jan 2013 18:25:03
Ed, do you know of any transfer information that you won't tell us until Deadline Day? A big money signing? {Ed002's Note - I am not holding back on anything until deadline day, at least not related to Chelsea.}

Looks like Roman constantly firing a manager everytime they concede a goal has finally caught up with us. Never thought he was stupid enough to let Di Matteo go without a long term replacement. However Roman has done a lot for us so, who to blame? His advisors who seem to know less about football then Kim Kardashin I think. Who to turn to now? Mourinho? No he wouldn't want to possibly stain his previous work at the bridge, also he doesn't stay for long and comes with controversy which we clearly have a enough of. Low? Will he want to come? I doubt it especially as Madrid want him. Rafa? I think that would be the worse move possible for everyone involved. Klopp? A viable option however doesn't have enough credentials for Roman to afford him time when the going gets tough. In fact I think Guardiola was the only manager left in the world that Roman truly believed was the man for the job. Now that he is out of the question......God help us.
{Ed002's Note - Nothing has changed - Guardiola was not going to be joining Chelsea.}
Then why did he get rid of Roberto? {Ed002's Note - The reason RDM went was explained at the time - it had nothing whatsoever to do with Guardiola.}
My mum could manage Barcelona with messi, xavi, inesta etc. Villanova his replacement already has the league sewn up and I think the only team that can stop him in the champions league is bayern, and my mum would do a good job with them too.
Do you not think there was a contingency plan, do you not think this decision was made months ago and chelsea knew about it. Our next manager is currently out there and my guess is he is in Spain. I have to admit i think barring one or two results rafa has done a good job and the sooner Torres is moved on the better for everyone as it must be a huge distraction. Roman will appoint a top coach . Ask yourself who youd prefer pep or Jose. Nuff said . Spready.
Pep over Mourinho Roman wants fancy football and so do I.
I want a winning team....mourinho

Hi Ed,
I am not going to ask if he is coming or not but would like to know if Jose is really a viable option for the Manager job at CFC?
You have said for a long time not to expect Pep and you were right, so I am hoping you may know if Jose could come back (considering all that happened in the past).
Thanks in advance
Miketheblue {Ed002's Note - Yes, he is indeed a viable option. But for now Chelsea has a manager through to the summer.}
Many thanks Ed.

Hello ED. Is it true we are currently in talks with Napoli with regarding the transfer of Edinson Cavani to Chelsea? {Ed002's Note - It would be fair to say that a representative of Chelsea has recently spoken with Napoli about the future of Cavani but there are no negotiations or anything.}
16 Jan 2013 16:38:09
Do you no ed what's taking Chelsea so long to strike again in the transfèr window they no what we need {Ed002's Note - I have no idea what you are talking about. Sorry.}
Guys its not as simple as saying. we need a world class striker, lets go get a world class striker. players have to be available and at the right price. and also just because us fans think we know what the team needs doesnt mean those in power agree.

So PEP has joined Bayern Munich, damm! Really wanted him at chelsea, next in line, Klopp or Simeone anyone? DJ
Klopp please. We got lucky not getting pep.
Marley
Klopp or Mourinho only
Guardiola has never proved it really anyone can be a great manager with Messi, Xavi, Iniesta etc in their side
CfcBenWxm
Got to be Jose for me. Although Klopp would be ok as a second choice. I can't think of anyone else that I would be happy with long term.
Klopp has to come now our only option. Mourinho isn't the right guy to develop Mata Hazard Oscar and co.
16 Jan 2013 16:07:22
Pep is going to Munich. We dodged a bullet there.
I'm sure Pep is thinking the same

ED reports in spain say that part of us loaning Piazon to Malaga was that we have First Option deal for Isco meaning that if Malaga were to sell him we have first refusal is that correct? {Ed002's Note - I don't know any details.}
16 Jan 2013 15:08:55
if Chelsea don't buy Willian now at this price, they will have to buy him at a higher price later from either Spurs, or rue watching him blossom elsewhere. He's a good match in our new team. Again I think Landrup should coach us next season. Just a thought.
Nelson
Willian? do we really need a playmaker? in the attacking trio we have, mata, hazard, oscar, marin, moses, plus, de bruyne, kakuta & piazon to come back. its a joke we need central midfielders, soon a left back & a world class centre forward. why the hell would we sign willian when isco is getable. Ed with m'villa looking possible to be joining QPR are we not interested in the player, mikel out and Luiz moved from defence I thought maybe he was a player we would look at
Matt {Ed002's Note - No.}
16 Jan 2013 13:44:03
ed002, do you know of any interest from Real Madrid for Rafa Benitez? Cheers in advance. DJ {Ed002's Note - It seems unlikely. He must be 50 now and is well overweight. He looks like his days of chasing a ball round a field are probably past him.}
Well said ed002!! Why chelsea bought him back from his long holiday i don't know! Bet even Torres runs rings round him on the training field.
I wouldn go tat far id say he still has the beaten of torres
Brilliant.
^^^^lol DJ
Would love them to take him of our hands then maybe he would be willing to swap Alonso for Mikel.

Hi Ed..
Thanks for your time here.
What's this Mario Gomez thing.. Are we interested in him and if so, are we talking to Bayern ?
I think he would be awesome in Premier League.. Goalscorer like RVP.
Hv11d {Ed002's Note - I have no idea what you are referring to, sorry.}
He's 28 would much rather Cavani or Higuain

Ed002: does Lukaku have a future at Chelsea?
Asking this because we broight in Ba, are looking at Gomis and still hope to sign Falcao.
JG {Ed002's Note - There is a significant age difference that you are missing there.}
Well, i understand he's only 19. He has a 5 year contract. Ba has signed for 3 seasons beyond this. If we are to sign Gomis or Falcao, the deal would be for no less than three years either. I just find it hard to believe we are going to loan him out for the whole duration of his original contract, bar debut season.
JG
Why not JG? He'll be 22 when his contract runs out. Drogba joined at 24 and was our main man for 10 years. I would like to see Lukaku loaned out next season and may be even the season after. He will play every game at someone like WBA, gain much needed playing time and be a better player for it. I predict in 5 years time Lukaku and Freuz will be worldclass. Fingers crossed. DJ

If Everton sign Étienne Capoue is there a chance that Chelsea could sign Marouane Fellaini....i mean will Everton give Fellaini permission to leave?
BlueFox {Ed002's Note - There is a "chance" of many things happening.}
Ed 002 you are one seriously candid dude with some of your reply's
16 Jan 2013 06:15:16
Hello Ed,
1. Do you feel has though there will be one maybe two additions added to the squad before the close of the window ?
2.Are you aware of any possible move for Fellani has it would appear Everton are now seeking a like for like replacement.
3.Whilst in discussions with A Madrid did we at any point offer our GK Courtis (spelling) plus cash in exchange for falcao ?
4.Shaktar seem to have loosened there stance regarding the price of Willian and with him being quite versatile could you see us making a bid ?
5.Do you have any further info on the scouting missions in France recently, what where the thoughts on the players being watched ?
6.Have we at all shown any interest in Zaha, i no in terms of the finished article he's still a raw product but it would appear Arsenal and Man you are keen both are known for spotting good young talent was just curious has to whether we have shown any interest has it would also count for a HG player and we all know how rare it is to come across a English player that could well be world class.
Thank you for taking time to answer.
Blueben {Ed002's Note - (1) Yes. (2) There is nothing at this time in terms of discussions or any agreement etc. (3) No. (4) Try the search engine. (5) There were no "missions" per se. Games and players are watched all of the time - and it is no secret that Chelsea have been one of the clubs looking at Gomis. (6) No.}
