ED002 what did you make of AVB comments thatsome of the player's do not back him and he only needs Roman's support not a very clever statement? And also what is the latest on Drogba? {Ed002's Note - I did not make anything of his statements - as I have said on numerous occasions, you should ignore what is said by him in press conferences. Drogba is due in to Cobham tomorrow I believe but that will likely just be for an assessment after his time away.}

hey ed,i came to know dat man united have been in talks with dortmund about a summer move for goetze. . .he's a hell of a player,isnt chelsea interested in him?
Can there be any negotiations with the hulk release clause?or does it violate d contract rules?
One more question abt champions league. . .incase if chelsea wins d ucl n finish 5th in the league den will we still disallowed to play in ucl next season?

BW {Ed002's Note - There have been no discussions between Manchester United and Dortmund over Goetze. Dortmund have bought Marco Reus, a local player that was on their books as a kid and this will almost certainly result in Goetze being available in the summer. Arsenal, Manchester United and Barcelona were previously knocked back by his club although Goetze has identified his favourite teams as Barcelona and Arsenal. There is also interest also from Real Madrid, Juventus, Chelsea and AC Milan - who I suspected were shifting their interest in Ganso or Fernando to Goetze due to persisting non-EU quota issues. Chelsea know that there will be pressure from elsewhere to buy the player - most notably the major Spanish and Italian sides - and are of the opinion that a move to England will probably not come about. A club can certainly negotiate with Porto over the price of Hulk - but Chelsea are not doing that. Winning the Champions League will give entry next season.}

This chap is guilty of crimes against the English Language. How were you able to form a response to that drivel?

If we can't beat Birmingham, how on earth on current form do you think we will win the CL.

Next few weeks will be critical not only for AVB, but Chelsea and the players.

Team needs to finish top 4 that should be the priority.

sturridge is not good enough to play upfront on his own,neither has he any vision to assist running midfielder nor does he have the guile needed to score lots of goals.

Lol and you suggest what? we stick with Torres who cant score a goal? or do we go with drogba who decides to perform when he wants to (I can only remember the Valencia game where we saw the true Drogba of years gone by). I would give Sturridge or Lukaku a chance. If necessary put torres on the right he does better with his crossing (for mata's goal against united) than he does infront of goal. I believe Avb is playing the wrong formation for the players he has. He needs to look at the formations that have worked in the past just until the end of the season so we can get into the top 4 and then he can change what he wants during pre season.

He seems to believe he's Messi.

I'd rather see Lukaku given a chance as te lone than Sturridge!

Good point about formations, AVB should consider the diamond in midfield as we have no wingers (or at least none that can perform). Should have Mata at the tip of the diamond with Torres and Sturridge up front as a pair.

Whts all this talk about sturridge could leave Chelsea? Any thoughts ed? {Ed002's Note - No more than what I said yesterday. Sturridge clearly has a preference to play as a centre forward but right now he would get fewer opportunities. If he really wants to leave the club will not stand in his way.}

Obviously without being in the dressing room it's impossible to say but from the outside looking in Sturridge seems to have quite disruptive elements! Wouldn't be sad to see him go!
